and only with RISE with SAP.
➢ SAP product is integrated with Identity Authentication (IAS). It is needed for user login.
➢ Enterprise global account on SAP BTP. Joule is an SAP BTP based application.
➢ Create a subaccount in the global account using the SAP BTP cockpit for provisioning
Joule.
➢ Stablish trust between SAP Authorization and Trust Management Service and Identity
Authentication in the subaccount. SAML based trust is not supported.
➢ Joule uses SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition with foundation plan for navigational
scenarios.

SAP JOULE – CONSTRAINTS
➢ Joule currently supports conversations ONLY in English language.
➢ Custom domains are currently NOT supported.
➢ A Joule instance can be only connected to exactly one SAP S/4HANA system.
➢ The domain of the Identity Authentication tenant used for setting up trust configuration in SAP
BTP subaccount should be same as the IAS domain for the SAP product.
➢ Users can send up to three thousand requests per minute to Joule. Once the rate limit is
reached, any subsequent requests will return an error code until enough time has passed for
