Directions for Questions 1 to 2: In a group of 1000 people 700 can speak English & 500 can speak Hindi. If all the
people speak at least one of the two languages, find:

1) How many can speak both the languages?


2) How many can speak exactly one language?

Directions for Question 3 & 4: In a class of 80 students, 25 passed in QA and DI, 25 passed in DI and English 20
passed in QA and English. 10 students passed in all the three subjects.
3) How many students passed only in QA?

4) If no student failed in all three subjects, what is the total no of students who passed in QA only, DI only and
