Harry Potter Lego Spot-it!
The object of the
game is to find
the matching
symbol between
two cards the
fastest. Spot It
has a deck of
thirty-one
cards, each with
six Harry Potter
lego
characters, and
every pair of
cards has only
one matching
symbol.
How to Play Spot It
Objective: Be the first to spot the matching symbol between
any two cards.
Setup: Shuffle the deck and deal one card to each player. Place the remaining
cards in a draw pile within easy reach.
Basic Gameplay: Players simultaneously reveal their cards. The goal is to be the
first to find the one matching image between your card and the center card (or
any other player's card, depending on the variation). Once a match is found, call
out the image (e.g., "Hammerhead shark").
Then, either:
Basic Version: Place the center card on top of your card, making it the new center
card.
Grab Version: Take the center card and add it to your collection.
Winning the Game: The game can be played in several rounds. The player with the
most cards at the end of a predetermined number of rounds wins.
Variations:
Hot Potato: Each player has a card. When you find a match, place your card on top
of the matching one in the center. The goal is to get rid of all your cards.
The Tower: Each player starts with one card. The rest of the cards are placed in a
stack, face down. Players try to be the first to find a match between their card
and the top card of the stack. If they do, they keep the stack card and place their
current card on top. The game continues with the next top card.
Fast Match: Spread all cards face up. Players race to find matching symbols
between any two cards. The first to find a match takes both cards. The game
continues until all cards are claimed.
