Subject: Leave extension request due to Father’s health issue

Dear Srinivas Sir,

I am writing to you to request an extension for my current leave from office.


Currently, I am on leave from 03-04-2024 to 19-04-2024. My Father’s
chemotherapy is extended which will take a few more days before he is
stable enough. Till then, I have to stay with him here, and thus, will not be
able to return to work on 22-04-2024 as I had expected.

I humbly request you to consider my case and allow me another week’s


leave. I will return to the UK on 29-04-2024 and resume office on 30-04-2024.
