Dear Parents,
As part of our Science event, which is being held in our primary and secondary section starting from the 4th to 7th November 2024.
we would like to share with you some important dates to help your child follow the requirements.

4th November 2024-Day1 Grades 2 & 3

FIPS young • Grade 2 – Dress up as a famous Arab Scientist:


Scientist
Students in Grade 2 are requested to come dressed as Arab scientists. We encourage parents to discuss with their
Community child about the scientist they will be portraying and help them understand the scientist’s contributions to the field
Helpers which will be performed in our auditorium
• Grade 3 - Dress up as Community Helpers (in the fields of science):
Grade 3 students are invited to dress as community helpers with a focus on those who contribute to science, such
as doctors, nurses, engineers, environmentalists, or pharmacists etc.
They will have the opportunity to speak briefly about how their chosen community helper supports the community
through science.

5th November 2024-Day 2 Grades 4 & 5

Planting • Grade 4 - Planting Saplings Project:


Saplings
Grade 4 students will be a part of planting the saplings in the school field. Saplings will be provided by the school.
This activity aims to raise awareness about the environment and sustainability, which is our theme for Science Week.
Spellathon • Grade 5 - Spellathon Event:
Grade 5 students will participate in a Spellathon focusing on Scientific vocabulary. This event will help enhance their
vocabulary and understanding of scientific terms.
• Grades 6 & 7: "Best Out of Waste" Recycling Challenge (Materials for the Competition will be provided from
the school)
Dress Code for the Day:
To align with our theme of "Environment and Sustainability," all students are requested to wear green on the day.

6th November 2024-Day 3 Grade 8 & 9

No fire healthy • Grades 8 & 9 Girls: "No Fire - Healthy Cooking" (materials will be provided from school)

Designing a Dress Code for the Day: all students are requested to wear Blue on this day.

7th November 2024-Day 4 Grades 10,11 & 12

Grades 10, 11, and 12: Treasure Hunt


Students will be engaged in an exciting treasure hunt conducted in the school.

Further details and schedules will be shared through Google Classroom/Dojo Classroom soon.
