Objectives:

At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

1. Identify the different types of hardware components in computer system

2. Demonstrate the different parts of the motherboard
3. Value the important roles of hardware components in computer system

Introduction

A computer system is made up of various physical parts that cooperate to process, store,
control, and allow user interaction. The term “hardware components describes the actual,
physical parts of a computer, such as the motherboard, random access memory (RAM), and
central processing unit (CPU). Every piece of hardware plays a distinct part in making sure the
computer can run effectively and efficiently.

How to Use your Module:

Welcome to the world of Hardware Components and its Computer System!!

This module in hardware components and its computer system that compromises the
information, and attitudes essential for a learner to acquire. This module in, “Hardware
Components and Its Computer System” provides activities and training connected in learning
the key components, component interconnections and apply to real-life scenario.

To accomplish each learning objective in this module, you must complete a number of
learning exercises. It includes the Information Sheet, Evaluation Sheet, Pre-Test Sheet and
Introduction/Overview.

Remember To:

 Read Introduction/Overview of the Hardware Components and Its Computer System.

 Answer pre-test before proceeding to the Information Sheet. After answering the pre-test,
check your answer using the answer key
 Read the Information Sheet. After reading the Information Sheet, answer the evaluation
sheet, check your answer using the answer key.
