INTRODUCTION
The teacher asks: The student answers:
What's your name? My name is Julia
What's your family name? My family name is Pérez
How old are you? I'm 9 years old.

PART 1
The teacher says:
Look at these pictures. They look the same, but some things are different.
Here there are two bags but here there are three bags. What other
different things can you see?
The student points and says:
In this picture the daughter is eating a sandwich but in this picture she is
eating a salad.
In this picture the mum hasn’t got a scarf but in this picture she has got a
green scarf.
In this picture the son is taking a picture but in this picture he is reading a
book.
In this picture the dad’s hair is curly but in this picture his hair is straight.

PART 2
The teacher says:
These pictures tell a story. It's called The baby and the comic.
Just look at the pictures first.
Vicky and her sister Daisy are in the garden. Vicky is reading a comic. The
baby wants to see it too.
Now you tell the story.
The students tells the story (many versions are possible):

Vicky is reading the comic to Daisy in the garden. Daisy is laughing


because she likes the butterfly then Vicky is playing with the rabbits and
Daisy is looking at the comic. Finally Daisy is showing the comic to the
rabbits now Vicky is laughing.

PART 3
The teacher says:
Now look at these four pictures. One is different.
The book is different, because a lemon, a pineapple and an orange are
fruit. You eat them. You don't eat a book. You read it.
Now you tell me about these pictures.
Which one is different? (why?)
The student points and says:
This towel is different because a this one, this one and this one are wet
but this one is dry.
The cinema is different because the bookshop, the toy shop and the
supermarket are shops but the cinema isn’t a shop.
The shorts are different, because the helmet, the t-shirt and the hat are
red but the shorts are green.

PART 4
The teacher says and asks: The student answers (many versions
Now let’s talk about things you are possible):
like.

What drink do you like best for I like milk for breakfast.
breakfast?

What’s your favourite sport? My favourite sport is football.

What do you like doing after I like going to my grandma’s house and
school? drinking chocolate milk.

Tell me about your best friend. My best friend is Emilia, she is tall and
pretty. Her hair is brown.
