I. CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Time: 45 minutes
II. OBJECTIVES

- Teacher: Grade 10 text book, sachmem.vn, laptop, projector / TV/ pictures and cards....
IV. PROCEDURES
In each activity, each step will be represented as following:

- T gives correct answer after each
questions and ask Ss the meaning of the
word.
- T give Ss a table contains 5 words.
- T read the words and Ss repeat
- T asks Ss to note these words into their
notebook.

Teaching To get Ss get to Task 1: Listen and read. T – Ss 20
know the topic Conversation: “Volunteering in the minutes
community”
- T lets Ss listen to the audio twice, Ss - Ss
then has them read the article in
pairs (2 minutes). Then T invites
two pairs to stand up and read the
lesson.
Task 2: Read the conversation again T – Ss
and answer the questions.
- The teacher will project 3
questions on the screen then ask
students to find the key word. The
teacher will invite 3 students to
find the key word of each
question.
1.What was Tam doing when Kim went to
her house?
2.What are some regular activities at the
centre for community development?
3. How can Kim apply for volunteer work
at the centre?
- The teacher will divide the class Ss – Ss
into 4 groups. Students stay in
teams. Raise hand to answer the
questions. If the team gives the
correct answer, they will receive
corresponding points.
