Profile:

The candidate should be result oriented, dedicated and focused with good
technical, managerial and team leading/handling capabilities with minimum
experience of 10-12 years and education qualification of Diploma or degree
in engineering or a science graduate.
Experience in fabrication of Stainless-steel process equipment for dairy,
Beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, distillery, brewery industries. Hands on
experience in fabrication of equipment like tanks, reactors, heat exchangers,
columns, dryers, evaporators etc.
Responsibilities:
1. Overall responsible for initiating, organizing, conducting and co –
ordinating all the activities leading to successful and on time
completion of equipment production.
2. Defining current set of activities which are leading to in – efficient
and unorganized management of shop floor and making a targeted
time bound plan for improvement.
3. Contributing your experience, expertise, and knowledge for
developing new business opportunities for the company.
4. Implementation of quality certification like ISO, U – stamp etc
5. Controlling the overall cost of the Production.
Roles:
1. Feasibility feedback in terms of production capabilities, manpower and
production time for new enquiries before estimation.
2. Check and review the BOM generated for new enquiries for accurate
estimations.
3. Generating the BOM after the order finalization and Convert into
formats suitable for inviting supplier quotation.
4. Technical evaluation of material quotations.
5. Over viewing material inward procedure and reviewing the GRN
documents.
6. Ensuring all the material identified either internally or through external
inspection agency.
7. Drawing study and preparing the check list of any particular and
critical activities for production.
8. QAP study and discussion with QC person for QAP compliance.
9. Submitting the production schedule.
10. Preparing weekly production plan with daily updating and
reviewing.
11. Shop floor Manpower planning and allocation as per daily
production schedule.
12. Recruiting skilled workers as and when required.
13. Maintaining all the necessary documents like MTC, calibration
certificates, welder qualification etc.
14. Organizing and keeping record of machine maintenance.
15. Controlling the raw material and consumables store.
16. Minimizing the scrap generation and optimally utilizing the
generated scrap.
17. Overall shop floor cleanliness, housekeeping and safety of
workers and operations.
18. Getting the internal and external stage inspections done.
19. Endorsing purchase invoice of the suppliers.
20. Ensuring efficient Consumable purchase and keeping track of
consumption.
21. Preparing all production progress reports.
22. Co-ordinating with purchase for smooth and timely material
availability.
23. Outsource planning.
24. Building team for smooth operation of business.
25. Workshop/shopfloor development activities.
