Relational Algebra Lab

Step 1: Click the following link

RelaX - relational algebra calculator (dbis-uibk.github.io)

Step 2: After clicking "Get Started," the following page appears.


Step 3: Click "Select DB" and choose the IMDB sample database. The tables will
be shown on the left side.
Note: If your dataset is not appearing as shown in the example below, follow
these steps:

Step 1:Close the above window and choose the "Group Editor."
Step 2: Copy the contents of the query.txt file and paste them into the query
editor.

Step 3: Scroll down in the window and click on "Preview."


Step 4: Click "Use group in editor."

After clicking "Use group in editor," the dataset will appear on the left side.
Now click on "Select DB."

The IMDB database will now appear in the temporary section.

Select the IMDB-sample database and proceed with the lab activities and tasks.
