Mamoru Miyano (宮野 真守 Miyano Mamoru)

Mamoru Miyano was born on June 8th, in the city of Saitama, Japan. He is an actor, singer
and voice actor, but he is famous due to his work in
many anime where he has given the voice of lots of
characters like Osamu Dazai in Bungou Stray Dogs,
Douma in Demond Slayer or Light Yagami in Death
Note.

Miyano started his acting career in 1990 at 7 years old


where he gave his voice to Riku in the videogame
“Kingdom Hearts”. Also, he gave his voice to Kiba in
the videogame “Wolf’s rain”. In 2006, Miyano gave
his voice to Light Yagami in the anime: “Death Note”
where he was nominated in the first edition of “Seiyu
Awards” in the categories of “The best principal
actor” and “The best new actor” in 2007. He won the first one thanks to his role as Light
Yagami and Setsuna F Seiei in the videogame “Mobile Suit Gundam 00”.

In addition to those roles, he has recently given his voice to another characters like Osamu
Dazai from Bungou Stray Dogs y Douma from Demond Slayer. Both are still on air.
Mamoru has starred some movies since 1992 where he played the role as a Yakuza Kid in
the movie “Tokusou Exceedraft”. In 2010, he starred the movie “Wonderful World”
directed by Daisuke Namikawa. Later, he returned to give his voice to Rintarou Okabe in
the anime "Stain Gates 0”.

In his career as a singer, he has been a singer since 2007 where Mamoru debuted with the
first single “Kuon” (eternity) that same year. On June 4 th, 2008, he released his second
single titled “Discovery” which was used in the opening of the videogame “Fushigi Yugi”.
In December, he released the third single titled “Kimi e” which ranked 18th on the most
played songs in Japan.
