TYPE 1: SKETCHING GRADE 11 FUNCTIONS
Problem solving strategy
✓ Use the dual intercept method to sketch the straight line, parabola and hyperbolic functions
✓ For exponential functions use the dual intercept method to find the intercepts but also find
one or two extra points on the curve by giving yourself values of x and then substituting them in
the original equation to find corresponding values of y, this allows you to have a smoother curve
