“A Picture is worth a thousand words” , this phrase highlights the value and power
of visual communication. The term “infographic” refers to a type of image that
combines data and design to help individuals and organizations effectively to
communicate ideas to their audience. Infographic is a visualization of data or ideas
that seeks to simplify complex material for a specific audience and make it easily
readable. Infographics should be included as part of your company’s
communication strategy because of the recent advances in our understanding of the
brain’s processing of sight and how our eyes digest information. According to
surveys visuals communicates information faster than texts and infographics makes
communication easier.

People process information using four main learning styles according to the
VARK model.
Visual – Rather than reading words, people learn best by looking at graphic
formats like charts, maps and diagrams.
Read and write – Words can be learned by reading and writing them.

formulation and solution of decision problems.
