HI, I’M SARAH
I like to think I’m a relatable, no nonsense expert on mindset, human behaviour and flow.

A member of the British Psychological Society, qualified careers advisor, NLP Practitioner, certified Life and
Business coach. I help busy prioritise what’s most important so they can live a meaningful and fulfilling life.

Through writing, speaking, online resources & in-person workshops, I’ve helped hundreds of businesses and
individuals, create a life they love.

A walker of talks, I practice what ‘preach’ and have used these techniques to reinvent my own life and
business in the most incredible ways (including selling all my stuff, becoming location independent and

One of my favourite techniques is POWER Goal system; which works with the subconscious, integrates
visualization to truly harness the incredible power of your mind. This system really works to make sure the
goals you are working towards are in alignment with what you want, and helps you achieve with ease.

POWER GOALS SYSTEM TEMPLATE

HOW TO USE THIS TEMPLATE

This might sound a little old fashioned, but to make the most out of this guide, print it out and complete it
with a pen. Why? Studies have shown that those who write down goals are two to three times more likely to
achieve them. By setting a POWER goal, you are creating your future. Dedicate time and space to work
through this exercise (your future self will thank you for it – I promise). The exercise should take 15-20
minutes to complete.

You will benefit the most from working through each stage, in sequence, taking as much time as you need.

STEP ONE - POSITIVE

State your goal in the positive, directing your energy towards what you want. A great example of a positive
statements is: 'I want to lose weight'. Avoid negative statements such as 'I don't want to be overweight' Think
about your goal. It could be an area in your life that you want to change, reinvent or improve. Write down
your goal. Looking at your goal, ask yourself, ‘Is my goal stated in the positive?’. Rewrite your goal, over and
over if you need to, to make sure it is stated in the positive. And keep it simple. Your goal should not exceed
more than two sentences.

STEP TWO - OUTCOME

Understand the impact that achieving this goal will have on your life. Consider the impact achieving your
goal will have on your life.

Consider these questions:

Is this something that I really want?

How will this goal change my life?

Am I doing this for myself, or because others expect it from me?

If I could have it now, would I take it?

When you are confident that the goal will enhance your life, move on to the next step.

STEP THREE - WHERE AND WHEN

Get specific on exactly where and when you will achieve your goal. It's time to get specific with your goal.
Creating goals that are time bound and measurable is known to increase levels of motivation.

Consider these questions:

What specifically do I want to achieve?

When and where do you want this goal?

When you are confident that the goal will enhance your life, move on to the next step.

STEP FOUR - EVIDENCE

What will you see, hear and feel when you achieve your goal? Imagine what it will be like to achieve your
goal. Draw a picture or write a description of the images you see, sounds that you hear, and how you feel
inside. In this step you must use your imagination to visualise what it will be like when you achieve your
goal.

Write down in detail:

What will you see?

What will you hear?

What will you feel?

To really benefit from this stage, repeat it over and over until the sights, sounds and feelings are anchored in. The stronger the better.

STEP FIVE - READY

Get ready by planning your first steps to achieving your POWER goal. Big dreams are only realised when
you take meaningful action. Write down three immediate things you can do toward achieving your goal.
