Chapter1 Introduction
1.1 Software Introduction
SAS1000 solar array simulation software equipped with IT6500C series power
supply, IT6000C/IT6000B series power supply or IT-M3600 series power supply
can accurately simulate the solar array I-V curve, P-V curve. The software have
a built-in EN50530 / Sandia / NB/T32004 / CGC/GF004 / CGC/GF035’s SAS
model that can easily program test regulations, materials, Vmp, Pmp
parameters, so as to simulate I-V curve characteristic output and generate
reports, and can be applied in test the static & dynamic maximum power
tracking performance of photovoltaic inverters. Also provides the shadow and
table mode, the user can enter the 128 ~ 4096 points array, also can store 100
I-V curves under different irradiation and temperature to test the long-term
maximum power tracking performance of photovoltaic inverters under different
climatic conditions.

Chapter2 Installing Software

2.1 Installing Operating System
Install operating systems of corresponding versions based on installation
requirements. For detailed installation steps, refer to corresponding operation
guidance on Windows operating system installation software.
To use Export function of SAS test software, be sure to install OFFICE
software.

2.2 Installing NI VISA

NI-VISA is a VISA I/O standard implemented by NI. It provides the
programming interfaces between hardware and application development
environments like NI LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI and Measurement Studio
(used for Microsoft Visual Studio).

Operation Steps
1. Run setup.exe in the folder Install Package.

2. Click “Next” and select the Destination Directory.

3. Click “Next” and select the components to be installed. If there are no

special requirements, keep as default.

4. Click “Next” and select whether to check the check box as shown below in
the “Product Notifications” page.

5. Click “Next”. Read and accept the terms in the License Agreement.

6. Click “Next”.

7. Click “Next”.

8. Click “Next”.

9. Click “Next” to install.

10. After the installation is complete, the following page displays.

11. Click “Next”, and the message of “Restart Computer” will pop up. Restart
the computer to make driver installation effective.

2.3 Installing SAS Software

The steps below describe how to install SAS test software.

1. Double click the setup file, enter the interface shown below.

2. Click “Next”, enter the interface shown below.

3. Click “Install”, the software starts installing. After the installation process,
the interface below will show.

4. Click “Finish”. The icon “ ” will show on the computer desktop.

2.4 Uninstalling SAS software

To uninstall, use the “Add or Remove Programs” in Windows Control Panel.
