1. Tell us something about yourself.

Hello Sir, my name is Shreya tiwari , and I am an enthusiastic student currently pursuing my [Link] in
C omputer Science and Technology at Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology, with overall cgpa of 8.

I am well-versed in programming languages, particularly C and C++, and fasinate for technology and
innovation.

I have worked on exciting projects that reflect my interests in machine learning and computer vision.
One of my exciting project involved building an application that recognizes faces . I used image
processing techniques and machine learning to make it effective and user-friendly.. Additionally, I
worked on "Neuro AI," a project focused on early Alzheimer’s detection through utilizing pre-trained
models and external APIs to enhance its functionality.

My commitment to problem-solving is evident as I have tackled over 200 coding challenges on


platforms like LeetCode, further strengthening my skills in algorithms and data structures.

I am eager to bring my enthusiasm and well-rounded technical skills to Accenture, contributing to

2. Why are you interested in this position?

This question helps the interviewer to understand your motivations, whether you've researched the

3. Can you work under pressure?

With the help of this question interviewer wants to gauge your ability to handle stress and tight
deadlines, assessing your skills in time management and maintaining composure.

Sample answer:

Absolutely. In my previous role, we often faced tight deadlines due to various reasons. During one
instance, I had to release the product in the early stage. This experience taught me the importance of
effective time management and maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. I believe challenges
present opportunities for growth, and I'm confident in my ability to handle the demands of this role.

4. What are some of your strengths and weaknesses?

This question is commonly asked in job interviews to assess your self-awareness, honesty, and
suitability for the role. It's an opportunity to showcase your strengths and demonstrate that you're
aware of areas where you can improve.
Sample answer:

Sure, one of my strengths is strong problem solving ability. I have honed this skill through working on
several projects. On the flip side, I acknowledge that I can be overly critical of my work at times,
which I'm actively working on. However, I believe this self-critical nature also ensures that I
constantly strive for improvement and excellence in my tasks.

5. How will you improve on your weaknesses?

By this, the interviewer wants to know whether you are doing anything or not to overcome your
weaknesses. If yes, then what really and if that has actually helped you or not. Everybody has some
or the other weakness. Be genuine and open when you talk about this part of yours and try to turn
these weaknesses into your advantage by mentioning the ways to overcome them.

I have taken steps to enhance my weakness by participating in team-building workshops. Although I


usually prefer working independently, it is crucial for me to develop trust in my colleagues and seek
external assistance when needed.

The question aims to assess your knowledge of the company's history and your research on

7. Tell us something about your achievements.

This question is supposed to be answered with a little care. Your creativity, viewpoint, and potential
would be tested here. Try not to fake while answering this question because follow-ups can actually
backfire. You need to be real and honest as much as possible. Keep it professional and mention such
events that happened recently.

Sample answer:

In my previous role, I successfully led a team that implemented a new project management system,
improving overall efficiency by 20%. I received recognition for my contributions and was awarded
'Employee of the Month' twice.

9. Are you satisfied with your career now?

This question shows your urge to learn and explore. An individual is expected to behave hardworking
and hungry-to-learn attitude. You need to be a little careful while answering this question. You are
expected to show your dynamic and vibrant personality but at the same time, your calmness and
peace will also be tested by this question.

Sample answer:

I am happy with what I am doing but not satisfied with it completely. I want to grow and explore
more.
11. Where do you see yourself in next 5 years?

This is one of the most common and the simplest questions asked in the interview. The interviewer
wants to know about your future goals when he asks you this question. You need to be sure about
your career when you choose to answer this question. If you are not very sure, answer this question
in a very general term.

Sample answer:

In the next 5 years, I envision myself in a leadership role, leveraging my skills and experiences to
contribute significantly to the success of the team and the organization.

12. What are your long-term career goals?

By this question, the one who is interviewing you wants to know more about you, that is, your plans
and how long you will stay in that company. To answer this question, you need to be clear on what
you really want ahead in your career. This interviewer should be convinced that you will be an asset
to their company.

My long-term career goal is to continue growing as a professional, taking on increasing


responsibilities and eventually reaching a leadership position where I can make strategic
contributions to the company's success.

13. What motivates you to work?

Now, this is the question in which you can shine. The answer to this question is going to give a crystal
clear picture to the interviewer about what you strive for and what can keep you going. Ensure that
you answer this question keeping you in mind. You can mention traits, circumstances, situations, and
urge that have driven you.

I am motivated by the opportunity to learn and grow, both personally and professionally. Setting and
achieving goals, as well as contributing to a collaborative and innovative work environment, keeps
me inspired and driven.

14. Why do you want to work with us?

This can be the most crucial question of this whole interview because this question can enhance your
chances of getting selected. The interviewer just wants to test your knowledge regarding the
company and your role in that company.

The answer to this question can be a bit tricky because your skills must match the job requirements.
Try to put some good points in your answer which show that you are really interested in this role.

I am drawn to your company because of its commitment to innovation, the positive work culture,
and the opportunities for professional development. I believe my skills align well with the company's

15. If in the future, you had to fire someone, how would you handle it?
At any time throughout your job, you may end up in a situation where you have to fire someone.
Your answer to this question will make the interviewer realize how dedicated and responsible you
are towards your job. Ensure that in such situations, you work in accordance with the policies of the
company.

Handling terminations is always challenging, but I would approach it with empathy and
professionalism. I would ensure clear communication, offer support services, and focus on
maintaining a respectful and transparent process to minimize the impact on both the individual and
the team.

16. You were in the same company for a very long. Why?

This question only comes when you have applied for the job with some experience. This question
cannot come to a fresher. As an experienced candidate, you are expected to answer this question by
mentioning specific details. You just cannot give a general answer to any question as any fresher
would do. Try to answer this question by adding some details about the job profile of the company
you were previously working with.

I stayed with my previous company for a long duration because I was continuously presented with

development were in alignment with my career goals.

17. What problems did you face in your last role?

By this question, the interviewer wants to analyze whether the problems you are mentioning are
really good enough or not for you to leave that role. While answering this question, please ensure
that you are clear and specific about the issues you are mentioning. You should be able to justify
your problems with the appropriate situations you have faced there.

Sample answer:

In my last role, managing tight project deadlines was a common challenge. To address this, I
implemented more efficient project management techniques, collaborated closely with team
members, and successfully delivered projects on time.

18. You have switched many jobs in the last decade. Why are you job-hopping?

Job-hopping does not make a good impression on the interviewer. If this question is asked to you, try
to convince the interviewer that your motive was never to switch jobs. You can mention points such
as growth, learning, opportunities, policies, standards, etc. to make it clear that you did not switch
without any reason. You have relevant reasons and that is why you decided to switch.

Sample answer:

While I've had several roles, each move was a strategic decision aimed at gaining diverse experiences
and skills. I believe these varied experiences have enriched my skill set and adaptability, making me a
more well-rounded professional.

19. How would you handle criticisms at work?


If your interviewer is asking you this question, he wants to check whether you can self-realize and
self-assess yourself or not. He also wants to see whether you have patience and the ability to accept
your flaws or not. While you are answering this question, try to do it in a positive way. You cannot say
things like others’ opinions won’t affect you. You can answer this question in a way that you will
consider their opinion and try to change, if possible.

I view constructive criticism as an opportunity for growth. I would listen attentively, seek to
understand the feedback, and use it as a tool for improvement. I believe open communication is
essential for personal and professional development.

20. Do you think you have leadership skills? Why?

Now, this question is a bit tricky. If you say yes, you will be asked to elaborate. It surely shows your
confidence but be prepared with the answer as well. You will be asked to justify your answer by
giving examples. If you say no, then you will sound underconfident and with low esteem. But, at least
they will consider your honesty and genuineness. So, candidates are advised to be true and honest.

Yes, I believe I possess leadership skills demonstrated by my ability to inspire and motivate teams,
make strategic decisions, and lead projects to successful completion. My leadership style focuses on
collaboration, communication, and fostering a positive work environment.

21. Are you a team player or a leader? Why do you think so?

When you are asked this question, it shows the intensity of your boldness. If you say you are a leader,
it shows vibrancy but when you say you are a team player, it may sound like you are underconfident.
What you can do is balance your answer between these two. As a fresher, you can be fine with being
a team player as well. At the same time, they should know that you can be a leader as well.

Sample answer:

I definitely have good leadership skills, but as a fresher, I do not have any problem working under
someone who can use my strengths to their maximum extent.

22. How will you use your strengths in this role?

After a certain duration, when the interviewer already knows about your strengths, this question will
be asked. For this question, you need to know your strengths properly and an assessment needs to
be done. Try to figure out a way in which you can turn these strengths into your advantage.

In this role, I plan to leverage my strengths, such as effective communication, problem-solving, and
attention to detail, to contribute to team success and drive positive outcomes. I am confident that
these strengths align well with the requirements of this position.

23. Tell me about your time management skills.

With the help of this question interviewer try to asses the candidate's ability to prioritize tasks, meet
deadlines, and efficiently allocate time to various responsibilities. It provides insight into the
candidate's organizational skills and their approach to managing workloads.

I consider time management a crucial aspect of my professional effectiveness. I prioritize tasks based
on urgency and importance, creating a daily schedule that allows me to focus on key deliverables. I
leverage tools like calendars and to-do lists to stay organized. Additionally, I am adaptable and can
adjust priorities when unexpected challenges arise, ensuring that deadlines are consistently met.

24. Imagine you are in a situation where your colleague is doing something unethical. What would
you do?

In a firm, you will find a variety of people whom you will meet every day, and sometimes, you will
have to deal with them. Such a situation can happen anytime when you will realize that your
colleague is doing something wrong. In that circumstance, you can either communicate directly or
can inform the authorities concerned regarding the same.

If I witnessed unethical behavior, I would address it immediately, either by discussing my concerns


with the colleague privately or reporting the matter to the appropriate supervisor or HR department.

Any company follows a particular hierarchy on the basis of which employees get promotions. After

team to handle. Then, this situation may arise when you will be disappointed with your team’s
performance. Always, the first thing is communication and if that has not made any impact, inform
them that strict actions can be taken and proceed.

By this, the interviewer wants to analyze whether the work environment of the company marches
with your expectations or not.

You can mention points such as Colleagues, work-life balance, learning and growing opportunities,
quality of work, and some additional points you feel are necessary for you to work.

To answer this question, you are needed to do some research about the company, especially on what
locations their offices are, and answer accordingly.

29. What will be your ways to deal with work pressure?

The interviewer wants to test the candidate’s ability to handle the worst of situations. Your calmness
and ability to work under odd circumstances will be checked by this question.

Every one of us has gone through some situations in our life in which we had pressure related to
some or the other thing. Try to answer this question honestly, in a positive way, and make sure that
your body language matches your response.

Your curiosity about your role is judged when this question is asked. The employer wants to know
whether you are curious enough about your role or not. You can answer this question by asking
about your role in detail. You can also clear some queries regarding the policies of the company if
any. This displays your enthusiasm and helps you place yourself potentially.
