1 General functional description

1.1 General program description
The program X2003-6/8 is used for the calculator hardware X2003 and for single
DUO-6/3 and DUO-8/4 functions. It is possible to use either the DART- or the
current-loop- interface. For the DART-interface it is possible to have the fuel and
the standard mode. The standard mode is configured for connections to other
systems. The different interfaces are prepared for all countries.
1.2 New program functions
1.2.1 Display of the preset value in case of overflow.
While filling with preset or with payment terminals it is possible, that the pump
does not stop at the exact preset value. If you set the parameter 26-41 to 1 the
overflow value will be shown at the display and transmitted to the Marketer
System. That function only works, if the overflow is not to high. If there is a
damaged magnetic valve it would not work.
1.2.2 Control for dispenser
In some countries there is a check-up after switching the main pump, if the pipes
are leak-proofed. For that function the main pump should run about 5 seconds
and the main valve should be switched on. That function will be activated with the
parameter 26-43 (put in 1).
To get a lead time about 5 seconds the parameter 26-7 has to be changed from
450 (750 ms) to 1000 (1.667 sec.). The display test runs 5 seconds and the main
pump runs 5 seconds before the opening of the magnetic valve.

1.2.3 Volume totalizer
The totalizer stores for every pulser a 10 digit wide memory. The first 8 digits are
shown at the display by using a magnetic stick or the programming box. The
calculator, which is configured for DUO mode, has a ‘side 1’ and a ‘side 2’. Letters
from A to E show the order of the pulser. The read-out of the values is possible
with one call for both sides. Every five seconds another value will automatically be
shown at the display. After showing the last value the read-out will stop and the
display will show the last value.
That function is automatically activated after a ‘cold-start’. With parameter
26-39 = 0 it is possible to switch off that function. When that function is activated,
the totalizer has to be set in the parameter 22. It is necessary to set the parameter
22! The value for 22 could be zero or a another value in case of exchange of the
calculator. The co-ordination of the pulser is from 1 to 8.
After the data announcement to the totalizer the display shows the following :
X= Produc A-E
Y= Side 1-2
1.2.4 Comma setting with parameter 23
Independent of the country codes that function allows the setting of the decimal
places. So it is possible to react fast to currency changes. While changing the
decimals the arithmetic is also changed automatically. It is necessary to set a new
unit price for the calculator in the standalone mode. The decimal places have to
be fed into the computer at the right place with ENTER.

1.2.5 Indication of wrong programmed basic parameters
After a cold-start it often happens locally, that the main parameters will not be put
at the right place. Therefore the computer does not permit any fuelling. The
computer version D recognises a wrong parameter and indicates this with blining.
Xx corresponds at 02: parameter for pump type not adjusted
03: pump number is lacking for data communication
04: basic purchase price not adjusted in the self-sufficiency use
22: totalizer start value not adjusted
Only a recognised wrong parameter can be indicated. If there are more than one
parameters adjusted in a wrong way, only the first - recognised as a wrong one
will be shown. After the abatement of the first nuisance the next wrong number of
parameter will be advised.
