1. PROJECT SUMMARY (0-5 Points):
Project; It is expected to mention its purpose, the identified problems and solution
proposals, if any, and the final beneficiaries.

2. TEAM CHART TASK DISTRIBUTION (0-5 Points)


It is expected to give information about the distribution of tasks and team
organization.

3. EXPLANATION OF THE PROJECT IDEA


1.1. Solution Problem/Need (0-20 Points):
The part where the project idea is explained.

 Specify which problem of the culture and tourism sector your project idea
produces a solution and what need it meets.
 Describe your solution to this problem.
 Indicate the feasible and feasible aspects of the problem and solution you
have found.

1.1. Innovation and Originality Side (0-10 Points):


 What are the innovative and original aspects of your solution that you have
developed based on the problem/need in your project?
 What are the elements that reveal the national and local characteristics of your
project?
 Write down whether you have applied to competitions with a similar/same
project before and add the changes in detail. If the similarity is more than the
inspiration and/or continuation work, the work will not be considered original.
 In the field of culture and tourism; Applications made for applications
consisting of domestic or foreign, known and wide user base, customized
according to a certain region/sector and/or with small details added, will not be
evaluated.
 Applications for applications consisting of combining more than one existing
application will not be evaluated.

1.2. Target Audience of the Project Idea (0-5 Points):
You are expected to specify for which target audience your project will be used.
Which segments of the society does the target audience of your project cover, which
age groups does it appeal to?

1.3. Competitive Analysis/Commercial Potential (0-10 Points):


You are expected to explain the commercial potential of your project in the relevant
market based on concrete data and to present a competitive analysis that shows
which factors you differ from your existing competitors.

4. METHOD TO BE USED (0-5 Points):


In this section, the methods you will apply in terms of software should be mentioned
in order to complete your project. How did you decide that the method you are going
to apply is the most effective and efficient for your problem? You are expected to talk
about all the stages you will do to implement your project.

1.4. Algorithms Planned to Be Used (0-5 Points):


You are expected to talk about the presentation and flow of the algorithms you plan
to use in the implementation of your project idea.

1.5. Software Architecture Planned to Be Used (0-10 Points):


Specify the software architecture and technologies you plan to use in the
implementation of your project idea. Projects prepared with block (visual) based
coding will not be accepted.

1.6. Preliminary Design Process of the Electronic Device Planned to be


Used (If Any) (0-10 Points):
If there is no electronic device in your project, the 4.2 title will be evaluated over 20
points.

If any, the electronic design processes of the device used should be mentioned.
Images of the preliminary design are included. Information is given about the sub-
components (sensors, cameras, cables, motherboard) that are planned to be used.

1.7. Educational Materials (0-5 Points):

You are expected to specify the training materials you will need in the realization of
the project idea. What are the documents you plan to prepare for the use and
dissemination of the project? Do you actively use the communication channels
required for education?
5. PROJECT CALENDAR (0-5 Points):

In this section, you are asked to do the work you will do on your project and to plan it
according to time (project calendar). You need to specify your project schedule as a
diagram/table.
6. BIBLIOGRAPHY: (0-5 Points):

The title of the bibliography will be evaluated together with the report layout.
The report should include a bibliography.
In the Resources heading, detailed information should be given about all the
resources you use to make your project. (Website address, Book Title, Page
Number, etc.)

NOTE ON DRAFT REPORTS:

(This page will not be included in the reports.)

 The Pre-Evaluation Report will be a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 pages,


including the Cover, Table of Contents, Bibliography and Appendices (if any)
pages.
 All reports should be written in accordance with academic report
standards.
 Each report should contain 3 separate pages for "Cover, Table of
Contents and Bibliography" headings.
 Font: Arial, Font size: 12, Title font: Arial Black, Title Font: 14, Line
Spacing: 1.15, Justified, Page margins: top-bottom-right-left should be 2.5.
 The sentences in the report should not be identical and repetitive.
 There is no promotional video at this stage.
 In their report, teams that have benefited from the previous year's reports
on our website should indicate that they have been quoted on the relevant
page. You need to specify the explanation after the quoted sentence.
CITATION FORMAT: "Sentence/s Cited" (Year, Contest Name, Category,
Team Name)
SAMPLE QUOTE: "The inability to determine the whereabouts of the
earthquake victim in the debris is the most important problem that slows down
the debris removal and earthquake-victim search efforts." (2020, Technology for
the Benefit of Humanity Competition, Disaster Management, Team X)
 References in the bibliography can be stated as follows.
Digital Source: Authors' surname, initials of their names, title of the article,
date of the article, access date, access address.
Printed Source: Authors' Surname, Initial Letter of Their Names., (Publication
Date) Title of the Article, Name of the Journal in which it was Published (if any),
Number of the Journal (if any), Page number.
 Pre-Evaluation Reports that do not comply with the report template will not be
evaluated.
