Isi Laporan :
B. Ringkasan
yaitu 2 pasang converter 1F1E 1000 base.
C. Pendahuluan Studi Kelayakan
Seiring berkembangnya teknologi, Telekomunikasi semakin berkembang

 Installation
1. Interface
RJ-45 interface
The transmisiion media adopts CAT5 and CAT6 twisted-pair. It is recommended
to use quality RJ-45 and well made jumper. It features the function of
automatically identifying the trough line and cross wire.
Fiber interface
The SC fiber interface is of duplex mode type, including two interfaces, namely
TX and RX. When the two sets of optical converter are interfaced or connected to
swirchboard with fiber interface, the fiber is in cross connection, namely “TX-
RX” “RX-TX”.
2. Connection
Connect the network device (work station, hub or switch) to the RJ-45 jack of the
optical converter through twisted-pair CAT5. Connect the multimode/singlemode
fiber to SC/ST/LC fiber interface of te optical transceiver. Turn the power on. The
corresponding LED is on for a correct connection. (See the table below for the
LED indicator lamp)

Useless.

LFP (Link Fault Pass) Function Explanation

On the condition of using LFP, electrical interface abnormaly will be transmitted to fiber
interface, Below diagram shows the LFP working progress:
When electrical interface on local side converter ogcurs abnormal condition(1), fiber
interface will send one”non-idle”signs to notice fiber interface on remote and
converter(2).hence it gets the signal of link abnormity(3). then remote and converter force to
close electrical interface(4). following the indicator on switcher or network card which link to
formal electrical interface goes out(5). Basic on this mechanism, converter can reflect
electrical interface abnormal condition of local elde to terminal converter one, then alarm it
by indicator.

1. INTRODUCTION
The media converter can convert between 2-8 twisted pair electrical signals and
optical signals. It extends the transmission distance of the network from the limit of
100 meters of copper wire to 800Km, and realizes the data transmission between the
two network connection media by using two network transmission technologies: the
data link layer 2 store-and-forward mode or the physical layer 1 pass-through mode.
Transmission. Support dual-fiber multimode, dual-fiber single-mode and single-fiber
single-mode optical fiber transmission.

2. Applicable Models
The Manual can be applied to the following models:
 1 X Fiber Port + 2 X RJ45 Port
 1 X Fiber Port + 4 X RJ45 Port
 1 X Fiber Port + 8 X RJ45 Port
 2 X Fiber Port + 1 X RJ45 Port
