X-64m Series - Commercial M.2 Solid State Drive
32 GBytes, 50 GBytes, and 100 GBytes
1 Ordering Information
The following table lists the part number associated with the changes identified in this document.
2 Product Changes
The Juniper M.2 2242 and 2280 Solid State Drives (SSDs) are identical to the Swissbit® standard X-60m2 devices
with the exceptions identified in the following sections.
1
The values are measured using CDM across the full drive density. Performance depends on flash type and number, file/cluster size, and
burst speed.
2
1 GByte = 109 bytes

2.4 Endurance
Because the over-provisioning affects the write amplification factor, the endurance numbers are different for
these devices. See the following table for the endurance represented as both TeraBytes Written (TBW) and full
Drive Writes Per Day (DWPD) for three different application scenarios.
Table 4: Endurance3
Drive Client Enterprise Embedded
Capacity TBW DWPD TBW DWPD TBW DWPD
32 GBytes 49.08 1.43 10.22 0.30 14.42 0.42
50 GBytes 96.37 48.83 83.71
1.80 0.91 1.57
100 GBytes 192.74 97.66 167.41
3
Client and Enterprise workloads follow the JEDEC JESD219 standard; the Embedded workload creates a 4 KByte file and appends it.
Enterprise workload values are measured based on 168 hours of runtime.
