Important Guidelines:

• Schools can register for AKU-EB PBL Programme by submitting complete School Registration
Form (SRF) with the required fee.
• Thereafter, the school will submit a separate Candidate Registration Form (CRF) along with the
required fees for each student.
• Schools that register for the PBL Programme will be provided with (a) Student Booklet (for each
student) and (b) Classroom Implementation Guide for teachers.
• Students will be required to complete at least 3 projects for Middle School Level and 2 for Primary
School Level during one academic year and develop a personal portfolio of their work.
• Teachers will be required to assess students on demonstration of competencies based on
21st Century Skills using the standardised rubric. Schools must submit the rubric scores to AKU-
EB on the Excel Score Sheet provided to the school.
• At the end of the PBL cycle, school will participate in Teacher’s Moderation Workshop with a
representative sample of personal portfolios of students identified by AKU-EB.
• AKU-EB will then issue the Personal Accomplishment Record of all students who have
successfully completed the PBL cycle.
