1. This paper consists of section A, B and C with total eleven (11) questions.
2. Answer all questions in section A and B and only two (2) questions from section C.
3. Section A carries sixteen (16) marks, section B fifty-four (54) Marks and section C caries thirty
30 marks.
4. All drawings must be in a pencil
5. Programmable calculators, cellular phones and any unauthorized material are not allowed in the

SECTION A: (16 Marks)

3. Carefully study the Map extract of Sikonge (Sheet 137/2) and answer the questions that
followings;

she forgot her bucket, hence she went back to take the bucket, finally she went back to the
source of water to fetch water. Determine the length covered by Madam Asha. Give your
answer in Km.

(c) By using square method, Calculate the area of seasonal swamps southern part of grid 800

(e) By giving evidences from the map, Identify the dominant vegetation of the area.\

experience of their team in conducting survey. As a survey expert;

6. In 2020, Form four students conducted a research about “Truancy of students at school” Finally
they submitted their report to the head of the school:

(b) What are the three main objectives of the research?
(c) Propose three methods which might be used to collect the data.
(d) Describe chronologically the first four stages students will pass through to conduct research.
7. Mangoma is living near Mto wa Mbu river, he discovered that there is a river stream flowing at
great distance before joining the main steam; (a) What is the name of such stream?

8. Study carefully the photography provided and then answer the questions that follow:

9. Forest have significant contribution to social, economic and ecological development. They
provided various, products for human use such as timber, poles, logs and honey. With examples
explain six points, what is likely to happen if forest is destroyed?
10. Kwizela was born in Songambele village in the year 2000, after her completion of her

transformed to the city. As a geographer narrate six factors for such transformation.
11. The government of Hon. Samia Suluhu Hassan is struggling to shift the societies from using
wood fuel which seems to be dangerous to the environment because causes environmental
