 BRIEF ITINERARY

DAY 1 New Jalpaiguri/Bagdogra Airport to Darjeeling (2,134 m) (Drive: 88 km / 3 Hours)

DAY 2 Full Day Sightseeing in Darjeeling

DAY 3 Darjeeling to Gangtok (Drive: 110 km / 4 Hours)

DAY 4 Gangtok Excursion.

DAY 5 Gangtok to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (Drive: 110 km / 4 Hours).

DAY 1
Drive from New Jalpaiguri/Bagdogra Airport to Darjeeling
(2134 m) (88 km / 3 Hours)

Upon reaching your arrival destination, our representatives will warmly welcome you, whether it be
at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport.
After a smooth pick-up, embark on a scenic drive to the enchanting hill station of Darjeeling. Upon
arrival, check into a comfortable hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to unwind at the hotel or
take a leisurely stroll to explore the charm of Darjeeling.
Immerse yourself in the local atmosphere and gain insights into the unique character of this
beautiful destination. Your overnight stay promises tranquility and comfort at the hotel.
 DAY 2
Full Day Sightseeing in Darjeeling
On day two, set your alarms for an early morning adventure! Around 03:00-04:00 a.m., head to the
breathtaking Tiger Hill (2,590 m) in Darjeeling. Witness the mesmerizing sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga,
the third highest peak globally, casting a golden glow on the surroundings. After soaking in the magical
atmosphere, return to the hotel via Ghoom Monastery and Batista Loop, catching glimpses of the
Darjeeling War Memorial and the famous Darjeeling Toy Train.

Back at the hotel, enjoy a hearty breakfast before embarking on a condensed sightseeing tour of
Darjeeling. Explore key attractions like the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu
Himalayan Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Chitrey Tea Garden (outer views), Japanese Temple, and the
Peace Pagoda. As evening approaches, head to Chowrasta and Mall Road to immerse yourself in
Darjeeling's local life, and don't forget to explore the local shops for a taste of the region's unique
offerings.
DAY 3
Drive from Darjeeling to Gangtok (110 km/ 4 Hours)
After enjoying breakfast, check out from the hotel and embark on a picturesque journey to
Gangtok, the captivating capital of Sikkim. Traverse the winding mountain roads, absorbing
the breathtaking scenery and making a brief stop at Lopchu for a refreshing tea break.
At Lopchu, don't miss the opportunity to visit the renowned Lovers Meet Point, offering
stunning views of the convergence of Teesta and Rangit Rivers. Resume your drive and
reach Gangtok by mid-afternoon. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and unwind. If you're
up for it, take a leisurely evening stroll along the vibrant MG Marg to experience the lively
local atmosphere. Your overnight stay promises comfort and relaxation at the hotel.
DAY 4
Excursion in Gangtok
The fourth day will get you closer to the enchanting and heavenly beauty of Gangtok and
Sikkim as well. On this day; after having breakfast in the hotel, you will be driven towards
the stunning Tsomgo Lake which is located at an altitude of 3,750 m and takes around 3
hours to reach from Gangtok.
Arrive at the lakeside and witness its fascinating beauty; make sure you do not miss your
camera and also click some of the magical snaps of this gorgeous lake.
Completing the lake visit, you will be taken towards the legendary Baba Harbhajan
Mandir (4,000 m), which is maintained by the Indian Militaries.
If time permits make a visit to Indo-china border Nathula Pass(please note availability of
the nathula pass permits depands on various factors ,weather ,date and day)
,Completing these excursions, drive back to the Gangtok hotel and enjoy an overnight
stay.
DAY 5
Drive from Gangtok to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra
Airport (110 km / 4Hours)
As you wake up today morning, you will be completing this wonderful tour of Darjeeling and
Sikkim. You will finally be driven back to either New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or the
Bagdogra Airport; with your drop, the tour will come to its final end, while you will going back
home with numerous pleasant and sweet memories of Darjeeling and Sikkim’s eternal
grandeurs!
