Abstract:
The Career Crafters is a web-based platform designed to monitor and analyze
the placement activities of B. Tech students at VIT-AP University. This project
aims to provide an intuitive and user-friendly interface that allows users to track
placement statistics over the years, offering insights through visualizations such
as graphs and pie charts. The website is structured to serve multiple user needs,
including historical data analysis, real-time tracking of ongoing placements, and
company-wise or branch-wise performance breakdowns.
Additionally, the website offers valuable resources for students preparing for
placements. Sections dedicated to job-getters' insights provide interviews,
suggestions, and success stories from previously placed students, offering
practical advice and motivation. The interview guides further assist students
with resources on resume building, interview preparation, and common
interview questions, helping them to be well-prepared for their placement
journey.
Overall, the VIT-AP Placement Tracker serves as a comprehensive tool that not
only tracks and analyzes placement data but also provides essential resources to
support students in securing job placements. This project aims to improve the
placement process by offering detailed insights and facilitating better decision-
making for students, faculty, and recruiters alike.

PROBLEM DEFINITION:
The Placement Tracker aims to develop a centralized, web-based platform
designed to address the challenges students and college administrators face in
tracking and analyzing placement data.. The platform will consolidate all
placement-related data, providing interactive visualizations, such as graphs and
charts, that allow users to easily compare statistics across different years,
companies, and branches. Additionally, the platform will offer a resource library
with interview tips, resume-building guides, and success stories to assist
students in their placement preparation.
The platform will cater to the following needs:
1. Data Presentation: Display historical and current placement statistics in a
user-friendly format, using graphs, pie charts, and tables.
2. Insights: Provide insights into company-wise and branch-wise placement
trends to help students understand hiring patterns.
3. Resources: Offer resources such as interview guides, resume-building tips,
and success stories to aid students in their placement preparation.
4. User Engagement: Include features like video testimonials, interactive maps,
and a user-friendly interface to enhance user experience.

The target audience for this platform includes students who need to understand
placement trends and prepare for their job search, college administrators who
track and report on placement data, and recruiters interested in analyzing
placement trends. By offering an intuitive, user-friendly interface, the Placement
Tracker is expected to enhance user engagement, facilitate informed decision-
making, and improve students' placement preparation through easy access to
valuable resources and insights.
