I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standard The learner demonstrates communicative competence through his/her
understanding of Afro/Asian Literature and other texts types for a deeper
appreciation of Philippine Culture and those of other countries.
B. Performance Standard The learner transfers learning by composing and delivering an informative
speech based on a specific topic of interest keeping in mind the proper and
effective use of parallel structures and cohesive devices and appropriate
prosodic features, stance, and behavior.
C. MELCs Use conventions in citing sources EN8SS-IIIg-1.6.4.
D. Learning Objectives At the end of the lesson, the learners will be able to:
a. define key concepts of bibliography;
b. identify the bibliographic parts of a printed or online source;
c. give importance of citing sources; and,
d. use various conventions in citing sources.
