OWASP Webinar Script

Good evening, everyone. I hope you're all doing well and excited
about today’s webinar. My name is Tanish Malvi, and I’m 4th Year
ECE undergrad at Rewa Engineering College. It is my honor to
welcome you all to the inaugural session of the OWASP Rewa
Chapter. This marks a new milestone for our institution as we
become a part of OWASP’s global mission to make software security
visible and accessible.

Today, we are excited to have a special guest joining us, who will
share his experiences and insights into the world of cybersecurity. But
before that, let me briefly introduce OWASP and why this chapter is
so important.

2. About OWASP:

OWASP, the Open Web Application Security Project, is a non-

profit organization that is dedicated to improving the security of
software. Some of its most well-known contributions include the
OWASP Top 10 list of critical security risks, and various open-source
tools like OWASP ZAP and Dependency-Check.

By starting the OWASP Rewa Chapter, we aim to create awareness,

provide hands-on learning opportunities, and make secure coding a
priority within our college and the local community. Through
webinars, workshops, and industry collaboration, we want to build a
strong community of future cybersecurity professionals.

Over to you Anamika
