Activities Performed in this week :

1. on the first day we found out about the capstone project. We were informed that we
will have to develop a main project for our 3 rd year which is very important for our
scores as well as learning.

2. On this day, our guide told us everything about the capstone project and how we will
have to work on it. We are supposed to form groups and decide a topic for our
project on which we will work on.

3. On this day we were informed about how the groups for the team project should be
created. There should be no more than five members in one group and each member
of the group should actively participate and contribute to the development of the
project.

4. We were informed on how to select our project topics. Our guide suggested us some
topics like how IoT and Machine Learning are helping automate and develop smart
systems which are very convenient and helpful than the old traditional systems. Or
the E-commerce websites that are helping make businesses and systems more
convenient,etc.

5. On this day, we were told to do our own research about the capstone project, how
the previous projects have been done by students and how the format of the project
will be. We will have to find the topics we are interested in to work on for our
project.

1. Once we had understood everything about the capstone project building, we decided
to start to form our project groups in which we will be working.

2. On this day, we talked with our classmates about how we want to work and tried to
find out if our interests matched or if any of us have the same idea for creation. Many
of us had creative but different ideas. We decide to ask everyone and gather people
who have the same or similar interests in a certain topic.

3. Once we were done discussing with our classmates, the people with the same ideas or
interests were able to gather and discuss among our self if we want to work on the
same team or not.

4. On this day, we continued to discuss if everyone is willing to take up their own roles
and their own tasks and are willing to contribute and work as a team and perform their
part in the development process of the project.

Activities Performed in this week :

As the topic for our project was finalized we were told to start working on our
project so started to search for more information about the project.
2. On this day, we searched for information of the project from various research
papers of the similar topic. We also looked at various other projects other people
had made that were similar to ours and collected information that could be helpful
for our project. Each one of us looked at different platforms and collected all the
essential information.
3. On this day , we shared with everyone all the information that everyone had
collected and discussed everything that will be necessary in making of the project
and then after that, we knew how we will be working on our project. We next
planned to work on it more efficiently and also started searching requirement and
component.

4. After we had finalized how we will be working on the project, the next step was to
look for all the hardware resources that will be needed for the project. Since our
project is about fingerprint sensing and face detection we will be needing sensors
and cameras for these tasks and other hardware resources as well, so we started
looking for the appropriate devices according to our requirements and also which
will be affordable.

5. After we were done with researching for the hardware requirements, the next step
was to decide which coding platform we will be using for the software. We started
working on deciding which platform would be great for our project. We compared
all the languages and their features and which one of these would e best fit for our
project.
And, also on this day we started making our project synopsis.

Activities Performed in this week :

1. In this week, our main objective was to prepare our project synopsis. We started
by selecting the various points that we will be adding in our project like project
introduction, abstract, existing system, problem statement,etc. Every group
member took up a few points and started to prepared them.

2. Everyone was working our their own parts and adding the necessary information.
Once we were done with our first draft we reviewed it with our project guide and
we were told to do a few changes in the synopsis report.

3. We started making the necessary changes in our synopsis report like our project
guide had suggested. While doing this, we added some more points to the report as
it added more efficiency and looked better than before.

4. After all the changes had been made and the final report was ready, we presented
our synopsis report to our project guide. He reviewed the changes and the new
features we had added and finalized our report.

5. Once our synopsis report was finalized, we took the final print and got it signed by
our guide. Hence, our synopsis report was completed.

In this week, after our project synopsis was ready we were told that we will have to
present this information in the class.
2. So, we started preparing for the presentation and preparing the powerpoint
presentation.

3. We discussed among our group about the preparation of the PPT and decided for
the parts that we will have to add to the PPT.

4. We started adding all the necessary points from the synopsis that we will be
presenting. Like, project name , project guide and Co-ordinator introduction,
introduction , working , specified hardware and software requirement information ,
etc. We reviewed our PPT with our project guide and were suggested some changes
and told to add more information about the project.

1. In this week, we continued to prepare for our project presentation .
2. We made the necessary changes that the guide had suggested. While doing this,
we added more information regarding the topic from the synopsis.
3. We reviewed the final PPT with our project guide and once approved, we
presented the PPT in front of everyone .

4. After our presentation , there was a doubt session where everyone who had doubts
about our project or wanted to know more about our project asked us various
question and we tried our best to answer them.

5. Finally, the project guide gave his remarks about our presentation and told us
about the improvements that needed to be made with our presentation. Hence, our
presenation was successful.

1. In this week, we had a discussion about the project requirements/equipments that
will be needed for our project.
2. We consulted with our project guide as well as our other seniors about what type
of equipments to order and what sites or shops to order from or where they are
available.
3. We searched the suggested websites and searched for the equipments and
compared them with prices and functionality and ordered the ones that fit our
requirements and budget.
4. We discussed our project budget and ordered the equipments like Arduino uno r3,
GSM sim900, ESP 32 Cam , fingerprint sensor, LCD display, etc.

The ordered equipments arrived after a few days.
