BOLLINGER BANDS
● Bollinger band is an indicator that is important in BBMA Oma Ally technique.
● Bollinger band consists of 3 lines known as Top BB, Mid BB and Low BB.
● Bollinger band acts as a moving Resistance and Support.
● Bollinger bands can detect the strength of the market whether it will continuously go up or down.
There are 2 types of Bollinger band:

BB Sideway:
When the market is not doing any momentum (momentum = candlestick close outside BB), BB will
become sideways. BB sideways means that the market has no strength.

BB Expands:
When the market has the strength to continue its journey. BB Expand means that the market is having
a strong momentum (candlestick close outside BB).

BOLLINGER BANDS FUNCTION

Top Bollinger Band:
● Top Bollinger band controls the movement of the market that is going up (buying).
● Any candlestick that closes outside the Top BB with the BB Expand, is a signal saying that the
market will continuously go up (buying mode).
● If the candlestick closes inside the BB (not momentum), it means that the market loses its
strength to go up.

Mid Bollinger Band:

● Mid Bollinger band acts to separate between buying and selling mode.
● If there is a candle that closes above Mid BB, its destination is Top BB.
● If there is a candle that closes below Mid BB, its destination is Low BB.

Low Bollinger Band:

● Low Bollinger bands control the movement of the market that is going down (selling).
● Any candlestick that closes outside the Low BB with the BB Expand, is a signal saying that the
market will continuously go down (selling mode).
● If the candlestick closes inside the BB (not momentum), it means that the market loses its
strength to go down.

MOVING AVERAGES
Moving Average 5 High:
● Entry point for Sell during downtrend.
● To detect Extreme Sell (MA 5 High goes outside top bb).

Moving Average 10 High:

● Reentry areas are much more valid and strong when MA 5 High and MA 10 High meet.
Moving Average 5 Low:
● Entry point for Buy during uptrend.
● To detect Extreme Buy (MA 5 Low goes outside low bb).

Moving Average 10 Low:

● Reentry buy is much more valid and strong when MA 5 Low and MA 10 Low meet.

MOVING AVERAGE EMA50

● Moving Average EMA 50 acts as a Minor Trend (for Time Frame H1 and below (H1 to
M1)).
● Moving Average EMA 50 acts as a Major Trend (for Time Frame H4 and above (H4 to
MN)).

BBMA BASICS
Moving Average (Ma) must not be outside Top/Low BB.
★ If MA goes outside the BB, it is called Extreme.

Candlestick (CS) must not be closed outside Top / Low bb.

★ If CS is closed outside the BB, it is called Momentum.

SIGNAL, SETUP & BBMA ENTRY

In BBMA Oma Ally, there are some differences in Signal, Setup and Entry. As stated below

Signal – An early sign that tells the market is about to do a certain movement.
1. Signal Extreme
2. Signal Candle Direction (CSD)
3. Signal Momentum

Note! All of these three signals are NOT for us to place an entry. It is just an early signal before a setup
is about to happen.
Example: Giving a car signal before going either left or right. It is just a signal such that you do a left
signal but you might go to the right.

Setup – Happen after a signal and ready to place an entry.

1. Market Loss Volume (MLV)
2. Re entry
Entry – Place for us to do an entry Buy or Sell.
1. MLV – Entry at the highest/lowest marking body MLV.
2. MA 5 High/Low ( Entry ) & Ma 10 High / Low ( Valid & Strong Entry )

EXTREME
An early sign that says the market movement might be ended but it is still not confirmed.
● Extreme is a Signal
● Extreme is NOT A SETUP

Extreme Characteristics:
1. Moving Average goes outside top/low bb. (Still not valid if there’s candlestick momentum (closed
outside bb) even though the moving average is already outside the bb).
2. Reverse Candle – MUST HAVE a reverse candle to stop the market movement.
3. Retest Candle – Place an Entry during Retest candle (after the reverse cs, next open candle
automatically becomes a retest cs).
4. . Ma 5 goes outside the BB 2. Reversal Candle (Candle Bear white color as shown in the picture
above).
5. Retest Candle (Place to Entry / click buy if extreme buy or click sell if extreme sell = Next candle after
Reversal Candle).
6. Marking the highest body/wicked after the Reversal Candle being formed.
TP WAJIB / TP COMPULSORY
TP Wajib/TP Compulsory – Take Profit at Ma 5/Ma 10 opposite of the Extreme.
Only apply for Extreme. Meaning, after Extreme, you MUST take profit as shown below:
● If you have an entry during Extreme Sell, TP wajib/TP Compulsory at Ma5/Ma 10 Low.
● If you have an entry during Extreme Buy, TP wajib/TP Compulsory at Ma5/Ma 10 High.
Maximum TP Wajib/TP Compulsory (not often happening) is at Mid BB.
● TP Wajib / TP Compulsory at the Mid BB usually during the market sideway.

CANDLESTICK DIRECTION
Candlestick Direction (CSD) – An early sign for the market to change its direction (for example from buy to
sell or from sell to buy) CS Direction is considered to be a Signal - Not a place to do an entry. CS Direction
is the one that validates your MLV entry.

Candlestick Direction Characteristics:

● Candles closed beyond MA 5, MA 10 and MID BB.
MOMENTUM
A Signal that tells the market to continue its movement.

Momentum Characteristic:
Candle closed outside top/low bb
If after the Reentry, and the next candle did not manage to close outside the BB with no momentum, the
market has the possibility to reverse 100%. Example: After CSD, and there’s Reentry Sell, but after that the
next candle didn’t manage to make a momentum sell, there’s possibility that the market will reverse and selling
mode is not valid anymore (from sell change to buy mode).

RE-ENTRY
Reentry is a Setup where we place an Entry buy or sell.
Reentry Characteristic:
1. Reentry after Candlestick Direction or Candlestick Momentum.
2. Candles close below Ma 5, Ma 10.

Condition before entry:

● Wait for the first candle to close below Ma 5 dan Ma 10 and next open candle we can place an order
entry.
● If the candle closes below Ma 5, Ma 10 and Mid BB, means the Reentry is Very Strong.
● Reentry where Ma 5, Ma 10 and Mid BB meets = Minimum 3 candlestick movement either going
up/down depends on the Timeframe.

Example: Reentry at TF H4, where Ma 5, Ma 10 and Mid BB meets, means 3 candlestick will be formed at TF
H4 going up/down. Equal to 4 Hours x 3 candlesticks = 12 Hours! What if the Reentry where MA 5, MA 10 and
Mid BB meets at TF Daily? = 3 Days, What if at TF Weekly? = 3 Weeks, What if at TF Monthly? = 3 Month
MARKET LOSE VOLUME (MLV)
Market Lose Volume (MLV) – An early Setup for a long distance that the market can travel. - MLV is a Setup
that validates the previous Extreme.MLV is a Medium Risk entry, it is only valid when Candle Direction (CSD)
is formed.

MLV Characteristics:
● Candle closed not beyond the top/low bb.
● Reversal Candle - MUST HAVE a reverse candle to stop the market movement.
● Retest candle - Place an Entry during Retest candle (after the reverse cs, next open candle
automatically becomes retest cs).
● MLV happens after Extreme.

MISSING CHAPTER – If you had an entry during MLV , then Candlestick Direction (CSD) is formed and after
that it gives a Re-entry but there is no momentum afterwards, so you MUST TAKE PROFIT (CLOSED
POSITION ORDER) because the market will reverse 100%.
