Final Report For Polito App
Using sustainable energy in automated systems is very important for making large-
scale production more efficient and less harmful to the environment. By integrating
automated systems with sustainable energy technologies, companies can use resources
more efficiently, lower costs, and help protect the environment. This report will cover
the key knowledge, skills, and practices that power engineer have taught to me to
effectively implement and maintain these systems.
Ravshan Yodik Production is a large company that recycles old paper to make
different types of boxes. These boxes are mainly used by companies that distribute
sweets and soda, so it's important that the production process is reliable and efficient.
Additionally, the company produces high-quality shrink and stretch films for
packaging, even for organic goods. They use pure and top-quality granules to ensure
the best results. This further demonstrates the company's dedication to sustainability
and quality in their production processes. This makes Ravshan Yodik a great example
of using sustainable energy in automated systems.

Introduction
1. Power engineers in the paper recycling and box manufacturing industry must
possess a solid foundation in several core areas. This includes understanding electrical
systems and machinery, power distribution and management, industrial automation
and control, energy management, and adherence to safety standards.
Energy Management Systems (EMS): These monitor and control energy consumption,
ensuring efficient use of resources.
Automated Control Systems: Incorporate sensors, actuators, controllers, and Human-
Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to maintain optimal conditions and improve productivity.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all electrical installations meet standards set by regulatory
bodies such as NEC and IEC.
Preventive Maintenance: Conducting regular inspections and servicing to identify potential
issues before they escalate. This includes visual inspections, thermal imaging, and electrical
testing.
Safety Measures: Implementing lockout/tagout procedures, grounding and bonding systems,
and providing personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent accidents.

Final Project Report
Optimal distribution and continuous monitoring of energy resources are essential for
maintaining efficiency. Methods include:
Energy Audits: Regular audits to identify areas of high energy consumption and potential
savings.
Load Management: Balancing energy use and reducing peak demand charges by scheduling
processes during off-peak hours.
Real-Time Monitoring: Deploying systems to track energy usage and identify inefficiencies.
Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitoring automated system metrics to identify
deviations and optimize processes. This involves analyzing power load management, peak
power control, and troubleshooting errors in system automation.
Energy Audits:
I assisted in conducting energy audits to identify areas where energy consumption could
be reduced. This involved measuring the energy usage of different machines and systems
within the plant and analyzing the data to find inefficiencies.
I learned to work with automated control systems, including sensors and controllers that
help maintain optimal production conditions. I helped install and configure these systems
to ensure they operated efficiently and reliably.
Preventive Maintenance:
Safety Procedures:
Safety is a top priority in any industrial setting. I learned about and followed strict safety
protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, to ensure a safe working environment.
This also involved participating in safety training sessions and drills.
Quality Control:
Ensuring the quality of the final products is essential. I assisted in monitoring the
production process and performing quality checks on the shrink and stretch films to
ensure they met the company's high standards.

Final Project Report
One of the key projects I worked with my Instructor on during my internship was
aimed at increasing productivity within the company. This project involved several
steps:
I started by analyzing the existing production processes to identify bottlenecks and areas
where improvements could be made. This involved collecting data on machine
performance, energy usage, and production output.
Finally, I set up a system for continuous monitoring and feedback. This involved
installing sensors and data loggers to track energy usage and machine performance in
real-time. The data collected was used to make further adjustments and improvements as
needed.
