About Key Account Management


Key Account Management (KAM) is a strategic approach that recognizes the importance of
nurturing and growing high-value customer relationships. These key accounts are typically
the cornerstone of a company's revenue and profitability. The essence of KAM lies in its
customer-centric approach, where the focus is on understanding and fulfilling the unique
needs, preferences, and goals of each key account. It involves customer understanding,
strategic planning, performance measurement and relationship building along with
collaboration with various teams within the organization.

About the Role


In this role, you would have the end-to-end responsibility of driving growth for key accounts
(in hotels or corporate department) through regular engagement with the key decision
makers and leaders. This would involve sharing necessary business insights and
recommendations with key external stakeholders and ensuring a smooth execution of
agreed actionable by coordinating with internal cross-functional teams such as category,
revenue and marketing. You will be required to travel to partner relations for maintaining
connects and building strong relationship.

What will you be doing:


Account Management:
You will be responsible for connecting and engaging with the “C” level management of the
Hotels Chains/Corporate and driving sustainable performance of the account
Handling entire sales cycle from lead generation, preparing and giving business
presentations/ proposals to closing the final deal
Relationship Building:
Building long-term relationships with new accounts and maintaining strong relationships
with existing customers.
Engaging & retaining clients through regular connects and visits.
Collaborating with partners in the portfolio and providing expertise, metrics, analysis,
and recommendations based on the industry's best practices.

Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including category and business teams, to
ensure partner needs are met and product offerings are aligned with partner
requirements.
Negotiation:
Networking, deal initiating, negotiation & closing deal with hotel/corporate partners.
Cross-selling across our Lines of Business to increase revenue.
