20 Tina had 20 m 5 cm long cloth. She cuts 4 m 50 cm length of cloth from this (3)
for making a curtain. How much cloth is left with her?

mangoes. Find the total weight of all the fruits he bought

21. The number of scouts in a school is depicted by the following pictograph (3)

Observe the pictograph and answer the following questions:


(a) Which class has the maximum number of scouts?
(b) How many scouts are there in Class VI?
(c) How many more scouts are there in class VIII as compared to class
VI?

Total cost of fencing the park shown in figure is Rs 55000. Find the cost of
fencing per metre.

(c) Which has greater perimeter?

23. In a year, Seema earns Rs 1,50,000 and saves Rs 50,000. Find the ratio of (3)

(a) Money that Seema earns to the money she saves.

(b) Money that she saves to the money she spends.

25. A rectangular path of 60m length and 3m width is covered by square tiles of side (4)
25cm. How many tiles will there be in one row along its width? How many such
rows will be there? Find the number of tiles used to make this path?
26. By splitting the following figure into rectangles, find the area (The measures (4)
are given in centimetres).

27. Cost of 5 kg of wheat is Rs 91.50. (4)


(a) What will be the cost of 8 kg of wheat?
(b) What quantity of wheat can be purchased in Rs 183?
28. Do the ratios 15 cm to 2 m and 10 sec to 3 minutes form a proportion? (4)

OR

Determine if the following ratio form a proportion. Also, write the middle
terms and extreme terms if the ratio forms a proportion.
