Lunar, Joshua T.

TVL 11 - H.E.

Present and serve food and beverage orders to the guest (Room Service)

Attendant: (knock at the door thrice and announce) Room service!

Guest: (opens the door)

Attendant: Good morning, ma'am. Room service for Ms. Winter. May I come in?

Guest: Yes, you may.

Attendant: Okay ma'am. I'm Joshua and I will be your room service attendant for today. Shall I leave the door open
or close?

Guest: Please, close the door for my privacy. Thank you.

Attendant: Okay ma'am. Here is your breakfast. Would you like me to set it up for you or shall I leave it here?

Guest: Please, set it up for me.

Attendant: Where do you want me to set it up, ma'am?

Guest: Just set it up on the dining table.

(attendant prepares and announce the food on the dining table)

Attendant: For your American breakfast, you have bacon and eggs, waffles, toasted bread, and your brewed
coffee. For your fresh fruit, you have a sliced mango. Would you like me to cut it into smaller pieces?

Guest: You don't have to. Thank you so much.

Attendant: Would you like me to open the curtains to brighten up your room?

Guest: Yes please. And can you please turn down the AC (air condition) as well? It's getting colder in here.

Attendant: Sure ma'am, I'd be glad to assist you.

Guest: Thank you so much.

Attendant: Okay ma'am. Excuse me for a moment but can you please sign your bill here, please.

Guest: (the guest signed the bill and hands over the money) Here is my payment.
Attendant: Thank you, ma'am. I received ₱300 peso bill as the exact payment.

Attendant: What would be the best time to clean and get your soiled dishes, ma'am?

Guest: Be back after 1 hour.

Attendant: Is there anything else that I can help you with?

Guest: I'm all good now. Thank you.

Attendant: Okay ma'am. Thank you and enjoy your meal.

(bussing out)

Attendant (knock at the door thrice and announce) Room service!

Guest: (opens the door)

Attendant: Good morning again, ma'am. May I come in?

Guest: Yes, you may.

Attendant: Shall I leave the door open or close?

Guest: You can leave it open.

Attendant: How was your meal, ma'am?

Guest: It is good, especially the bacon and eggs. But I have a problem on your toasted bread. It is not toasted
enough for my liking and I think the bread is old already.

Attendant: I’m really sorry about that, ma'am. I’ll take note of your feedback and I shall inform the kitchen staff to
make an immediate action to this matter so that it will never happen again.

Attendant: May I offer you a 20% discount coupon in our hotel spa as a compensation for the inconvenience that
you experienced?

Guest: Sure, thank you so much.

Attendant: (hands over the discount coupon) Thank you, ma'am. May I now clear your soiled dishes?

Guest: Sure, you can. Thank you.

Attendant: (clearing the table) Is there anything else I can help you with?

Guest: That's all. Thank you.

Attendant: Okay ma'am. Thank you for your order. Enjoy your stay and have a great day ahead of you.
