PREREQUISITE AND SYSTEM INFO


1 The term CCTV abbreviated as Closed circuit Tele vision.
This system is for surveillance of DMRC premises.

2 In PH-III, we have generally four types of cameras:


a.) Fixed Box Cameras.
b.) Fixed Box with IR Module Cameras.
c.) PAN tilts Zoom (PTZ) Cameras.
d.) DOME Cameras.

All the cameras via CAT-5/6 cable are


brought to their respective switch racks

PROCESS-1: Time Synchronization of Particular camera.


NOTE: If you try to change date and time or synch it’s time to PC
or set Central system IP then it shows an error that recording
should be stop for that camera, so its process as follows:

Step1: Open configuration manager and click on that camera.

Step2: Click on Recording and then click on Recording Scheduler.


Step3: Stop Recording.

Step4: Access Camera through Browser and click on configuration and


then click on General.

Step5: Click on date and Time.

Step6: Synch this camera to PC or/and also Insert IP of Central server


and click on set.
Step7: Then Start the recording from configuration manager, follow
step 1, 2 and 3.

NOTE: If IP of two or more cameras is having same IP then IP


conflict will arises and cameras View and recording will get
stopped. IP Setting will be done by using Configuration Manager
installed on SCR workstation.

STEP1: Check its Ping for around 5-10 mins.


Case1: if found some RTO (request time out) in pinging then
(i) We can replace its connector at both ends.
(ii) We can replace I/O connector at Patch panel or camera end or
both.
Case2: If all ping found smooth without any RTO then
(i) Try with Firmware updating.
(ii)Lastly check with spare camera.

Step2: Check its time with Sub master clock.


Case1: if found mismatch then
(i) Follow Time Synchronization Procedure from its SOP.
Case1: if found no mismatch then
(i) Try with Firmware updating.
(ii)Lastly check with spare camera.
