school song, “Like armoured knights we will shine for Goldridge our school.”
I am aware that in this world of technology there are too many distractions for our children, that may
prevent them from attaining good results. But let us all continue teaching them responsibility,
positive attitude, discipline, time management, diligence, staying focused and ability not to quit.
Instead, they need to strive to improve all the time. To God be the Glory!!!

MAY/JUNE CAMBRIDGE EXAMINATIONS 2023

We are currently registering for the May/June 2023 Cambridge Examinations. The deadline for
registration is Tuesday, 22 February 2023. Please contact the school office for further details if your
child is going to sit for examinations in May/June.
REMINDERS

We kindly request you to assist the school by adopting the following:

• Clearly mark all your children’s clothes for positive identification. A lot of items (school
uniform) without name tags have been found and some remain unclaimed.
• School starts at 7.30 a.m. and we expect all pupils to be in school by 7.20 a.m.
• If your child is medically unfit, a doctor’s certificate is needed for the child to be exempted from
sporting activities.
• Make every effort to make medical appointments to be outside school hours.
• Pick up your child from school in time. Make use of the afternoon activities timetable to
determine the correct time to pick up your child. On Friday, pick up your children at 1.05 p.m.
There are children who are spending the whole afternoon, on Friday, at school doing nothing
and that promotes indiscipline. If your child says he/she has an afternoon activity on Friday,
he/she must show you the letter from the school requesting the child to attend the activity. If
no letter is provided, your child will not be telling you the truth. Feel free to verify with the
school.
