Strategic Management Process, Types of Strategy, HR metrics, benchmarking, Use of Score cards, HR Audits and
Evaluation, Employee Engagement, and performance.

Module 3: HR Planning, Recruitment and Talent Management 7 Hrs


Importance of HR Planning, Job Analysis-Job description and job specification, Recruitment- Sources of Recruitment,
Selection- Importance of careful selection, Process of selection, Types of Tests for selection, Interview- Methods of
Selection Interview, Induction Process.
Module 4: Learning and Development 7 Hrs
Objectives of training, Identification of Training needs, Concepts of Training, Training methods, Orientation and
Placement, Management development, Purposes and Principles of promotion, Bases and types for promotion,
Transfer, Separation.
Module 5: Compensation 7 Hrs
Strategic Pay plans, job evaluation methods, Incentive and Recognition Programs, Personal services and Family
friendly plans, Flexible benefit programs.
Module 6: Employee Relations 5 Hrs
Industrial Relations – Trade Unions – Dealing with disputes and grievances
Module 7: Global HRM and recent Trends 7 Hrs
Domestic HRM and Global HRM – Adapting HR activities to intercountry differences – Staffing Global Organisation –
training and maintain employees abroad – Managing HR locally – Contemporary issues in HRM – Emerging Trends in

the above modules and submit the project report.
