Explica de maneras diferentes el significado de oraciones muy simples.
CONTENTS:
• SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE (Third Person Singular Endings): s, es, ies
TIEMPO PRESENTE SIMPLE (3ª. persona del singular he, she, it: terminaciones s, es, ies)

SUBJECT VERB THE REST OF THE SENTENCE


I / you /we / they Speak / learn English at home
He / she / Speaks / learns English at home

1. For verbs that end in -O, -CH, -SH, -SS, -X, or -Z we add -ES in the third person.
Los verbos que terminan en –O, CH, SH, SS, X, Z, se les añade ES a la tercera persona.
go – goes kiss - kisses
catch – catches fix - fixes
wash – washes buzz – buzzes

2. For verbs that end in a consonant + Y, we remove the Y and add -IES.
Los verbos que terminan en una consonante más la letra Y, se elimina la Y u se agrega IES.

marry – marries carry - carries


study – studies worry - worries

3. For verbs that end in a vowel + Y, we just add -S.


Los verbos que terminan en una vocal más la letra Y, se agrega -S

• play – plays
• enjoy – enjoys
• say – says
