Climate change
Phương: Let's take a look at this video
Phương :
Hi everyone, I am going to talk about climate change, which is one of the
most pressing challenges that humanity confronts today. So, what is climate
change? Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather
patterns. Such shifts can be natural, due to changes in the sun’s activity or large
volcanic eruptions. Though this warming trend has been going on for a long time,
its pace has significantly increased in the last hundred years due to the burning of
fossil fuels like coal, oil, and gas. As the human population has increased, so has
the volume of fossil fuels burned.
Let's find out what causes climate change! First, globally, residential and
commercial buildings consume over half of all electricity. As they continue to draw
on coal, oil, and natural gas for heating and cooling, they emit significant
quantities of greenhouse gas emissions. That has contributed to a rise in energy-
related carbon dioxide emissions from buildings in recent years. Second, illegal
deforestation is becoming increasingly serious, affecting the global ecosystem, and
even causing the earth’s temperature to heat up rapidly. Cutting down forests to
create farms or pastures, or for other reasons, causes emissions. Each year
approximately 12 million hectares of forest are destroyed. Since forests absorb
carbon dioxide, destroying them also limits nature’s ability to keep emissions out
of the atmosphere. Finally, the pollution introduced by the fast fashion industry
results in devastating impacts on both terrestrial and aquatic environments, has a
harmful impact on habitat degradation, and the increasing climate change
Nhi :
Hi, I’m Nhi. Today im here to discuss about consequences of climate change.
One of the serious problems of climate change is global warming. Global
warming has caused so many consequences on the earth’s ecosystem that
include melting of glaciers, droughts and heatwaves among others. The most
visible evidence is the retreating and thinning ice cover in the Arctic which is
causing difficulties for animals such as polar bears. Additionally, climate change
leads to more frequent and intense bad weather events such as hurricanes,
tornadoes and floods among others. As a result of these changes in weather
patterns, a number of diseases are spreading very fast like dengue fever and
malaria thus increasing mortality rate. Other health risks associated with
cliamate chage include allergies, asthma attacks, heart attacks and other
cardiovascular diseases because people are exposed to poor air quality from
fossil fuel emissions. Without interventions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions
and promote practices the long term effects of climate change will continue to
worsen, impacting future generations profoundly.

Plant more trees:
This is one of the most effective and simple measures in reducing global
temperature rise. Surely you know, trees will help absorb CO2 through
photosynthesis. From there, the amount of CO2 - greenhouse gas will decrease
significantly.
-Save electricity, save energy:
Saving the energy we use is an effective way to reduce global warming. Electricity
is produced from burning raw materials and fossil fuels.During this energy
production process, a large amount of CO2 is released into the environment.
Therefore, saving electricity is a way to reduce the effects and reduce air pollution.
-Optimize transportation:
Means of communication such as cars, motorbikes, etc. are the main cause of
producing CO2, N2O and dust, causing environmental pollution. Therefore, you
can protect the environment by limiting these types of vehicles and instead cycling
or walking.
-Use clean energy sources:
Clean energy sources are energy sources from wind and solar energy. Using this
energy source will limit the greenhouse effect and reduce environmental pollution.
-Actively propagate environmental protection:
Promoting environmental protection activities and movements is very necessary. It
is necessary to provide people with knowledge about the phenomenon of global
warming, its importance and harmful effects on life on our planet. At the same
time, raise awareness and responsibility of each person for humans and all kinds
of creatures
II.Air pollution
Nguyên : Good afternoon class, I’m Nguyên and I would like to tell you about
meaning of air pollution. Air pollution is one of the most serious global issues in
big cities. Air pollution is one such form that refers to the contamination of the air,
irrespective of indoors or outside. A physical, biological or chemical alteration to
the air in the atmosphere can be termed as pollution.
So what causes air pollution? The first cause I want to mention is gas
emissions from factories and vehicles.Nowadays, more and more factories and
vehicles are appearing, with that the gases from them are not treated, they are very
harmful to not only the air but also the environment. Additionally, as the number of
plants and trees reduce the carbon dioxide in the air increases and this is a major
pollutant, so cutting of trees is a cause of pollutionThis brings a number of bad
effects on both the environment and humans.
Ngọc Anh :
First, air pollution effect on human:
Air pollution can make people very sick, apart from breathing issues, it is major
cause of respiratory diseases such as lung cancer, heart diseases, asthma and more.
According to the WHO, nearly 2,4 million people die each year from air pollution.
Second, air pollution effect on plants:
It causes damage to trees, vegetables, fruits and flowers. Air pollution brings acid
rain to trees that die early and leaves get dry. It is also affects the growth of plants.
Third, air pollution effect dangerously on animals:
Animals face breathing problems, skin infections and many other diseases.
Finally, air pollution effect on atmosphere:
Some of the effects of air pollution on atmospheric conditions such as ozone layer
decay, greenhouse effect, global warming. The temperature rising and ozone holes
are some of the problems which have attracted the attention of scientists all over
the world.
My :
Hello everyone, my name is My, today I’m going to tell you about air
pollution solutions.
-As individuals, we all have missions to protect the environment in one way or
another.
-Air pollution is a serious problem, therefore humans need to solve the problems
that negatively affect the atmosphere we live.
-Firstly, we need to limit the use of individual vehicles such as cars, and
motorbikes that discharge into the environment many emissions and dust.
Instead of that, use public transportation such as buses or bikes.
-Secondly, saving energy is also the best way to protect the air.
-People can use energy-efficient appliances such as solar panels, and remember to
turn off electrical equipment when not in use
-Besides, we must take practical actions like planting more trees, and even avoid
burning fuels like wood, and coal to cook.
-With these actions, air pollution can not become the worst problem, paving the
way for a cleaner and healthier future.

III.Endangered animals
Long : First of all, watch the video we have prepared
Long :
Animal decline is the loss of animal species within an ecological
community. The rate of species decline across the planet is exceeding safety
threshold. Animals in grasslands, savannas and shrublands are the worst affected
areas, followed by forests. Caused by human activities, including land reclamation
for farming and trading activities.
The main cause of animal decline is population growth and increasing human
needs. Population growth, environmental pollution and global climate change are
also indirect causes of wildlife decline. The decline in the number of individuals in
wild animals is due to the significant impact of habitat encroachment, agricultural
land confiscation, fishing, mining activities and many other human impacts.
People.
On the other hand, animal populations are also affected by climate change,
pollution and overexploitation of resources. Due to overexploitation by humans
and climate change. Human activities have seriously damaged the oceans. People
catch fish without allowing them to reproduce in time and destroy their breeding
grounds. Many animals have been reduced and lost in quantity due to the
destruction of their habitats, mainly due to human activities such as deforestation,
construction of hydroelectric projects, and burning of forests for farming land.

1. Consequences (Quân)
Hương :
As you know from the previous part, more species disappear from our planet
as a consequence of the pollution of the ecosystems deforestation, and illegal
hunting . Easy things we can do to save endangered animals.
Firstly, learn about endangered animals in your area. Teaching your friends and
family about the wonderful wildlife, birds and fish that live near you. The first step
to protecting endangered animals is learning about how interesting and important
they are.
Secondly, don’t hurt and harass animals. Shooting, trapping or forcing a threatened
or endangered animal into captivity is illegal and can lead to their extinction. Don’t
participate in this activity. And if you see someone attacking an animal or
damaging the ecosystem, please infome to the authority.
Thirdly, we can protect wildlife habitat. Perhaps the greatest threat that faces many
species is the widespread destruction of habitat. By protecting habitat, entire
communities of animals can be protected together
