Hi good morning, my name is Ma. Angelica Sagayno, I’m 18, the eldest and I have a younger
sister. I’m from Victorias City and I just graduated from Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias -
Integrated School.
During my time in high school I am a consistent honor student. Throughout high school, I was
deeply interested in pursuing a career in nursing. I love helping others and I’m fascinated by
medical science. The chance to make a real difference in people's lives motivated me.
However, I didn't pass the NAT but this has not deterred me from pursuing my career. I want to
study a different course that is also in the field of medical science. I always love helping people.
When I did my OJT at our school clinic, I loved helping the students, providing their needs,
assisting the nurse and realized how rewarding it is to help others.
So, if I get to start my journey here in a medical course, I am excited to keep learning and
growing. I am ready to face the challenges and rewards that come with this profession and am
committed to doing my best.
When it comes to study habits I like to study in a comfortable and distraction-free place where I
can focus. As for my study method, I use the Feynman Technique. This method is like
pretending you’re a teacher and explaining what you have just studied. This method really
helped me to memorize better. Group study also works but I prefer studying alone.
Can you tell me about a time you faced a significant challenge and how you overcame it?
One significant challenge I faced was leading a research project where our team encountered
unexpected setbacks in finding good RRL. To address this, I encouraged team members to
explore more sources, and just help out each other for the sake of our research.
What would you do if you could not pursue your chosen major?
If I could not pursue my chosen major, I would explore alternative pathways that align with my
interests and strengths. I would explore opportunities to gain experience that aligns with my
skills.
I can contribute to commitment and a willingness to get involved in campus activities and events.
I'm eager to work with others, share my ideas, and help create a positive and supportive college
community where everyone can enjoy.
What motivates me to succeed is my family who are the source of my strength. They are my
biggest supporters and seeing their pride and happiness when I achieve my goals drives me to
work hard and strive for success. Their encouragement and belief in me fuel my determination to
overcome challenges and pursue my dreams.
