Product Description
Niax catalyst B-18 is a liquid, low odor, water soluble tertiary amine composition specifically designed for the
production of flexible polyurethane foam based on polyether polyols. It may be added as a separate stream or
blended with water, polyol, etc. for metering to the mixing chamber of the foam machine. In terms of activity
Niax catalyst B-18 is intermediate between the activity of highly active materials, such as Niax catalyst E-A-1,
and moderate activity catalysts, such as Niax catalyst A-33. Niax catalyst B-18 gives an excellent balance
between the gel and blowing reactions. In this regard, Niax catalyst B-18 functions excellently as the sole amine
catalyst in a broad spectrum of flexible foam formulations.
