Learning Outlines Impact
1. Pupils brainstorm about classroom objects on board. Pupils look a mind map with classroom objects written in centre. Pupils classify the objects into groups e.g. furniture, electric things, Starter things for writing/reading, things for the wall. 2. Pupils listen to the teacher's explanation of the lesson objectives and success criteria to be achieved and their relevance to the topic of the lesson. Main Activities 3. Pupils listen to teacher’s explanation of the learning content. Pupils do Activity 1. Pupils are asked about which word is the most difficult to spell (dictionary). Pupils complete the sentences with the prepositions (Activity 2). Pupils in pairs do memory test in Activity 3. Pupils look at sentences in Activity 2 again for one minute. Pupils close their books and write down as many sentences as they can remember. Pupils are asked: Who can remember 3, 5, 7, or more than 7 sentences? Pupils do Activity 4. Pupils draw a desk and write sentences to describe what’s on the desk. Pupils swap with a partner and check if any of the objects and sentences are the same. Pupils listen to partner describing their pictures and draw what they hear (Exercise 5). 4. Pupils complete the exercise based on the topic that has been discussed. 5. Pupils say True or False to the statement given (Optional Activity: Vocabulary in Teacher’s Book p.20). Plenary 6.
