1.1 WHAT DO YOU WANT IN LIFE?

Before you begin your journey into QiMen, you first have to know:

WHAT DO YOU WANT?

• Before you set out to achieve what you want, start with the clarity of the “what”. What is your purpose? What
are your goals? What is the end results you desire?
• Learning QiMen can help get you from where you are now to where you desire to be
• First you have to be specific with what you want. If you’re NOT CLEAR, you can’t execute it with the right tool
• Once you’re sure and precise in what you want, then you can utilise QiMen to help you get it

WHAT DON’T YOU WANT?

• If you don’t know what you want, then start with what you don’t want
• What don’t you want may make you realise exactly what you seek
• In order to get what you want, you’ve got to give a part of your energy in exchange to get it. This will lead you
to the next point

WHAT HAVE YOU GOT?

• To get what you want, you have to commit something in order to achieve it. Nothing comes for free
• It may be an exchange of care, resources, time, effort or money to gain other things in return
• In the spiritual world, however, what you have to give and what you want may not be proportionate. It
depends on your contribution (in energy form) and the returns could double/triple

1.6 QIMEN TOOLS

There are several combinations of QiMen tools that can be utilise together. In Qi Men Dun
Jia it is primarily made up of:

QIMEN FORECASTING
QiMen is used for the purpose of forecasting. A chart is plotted and read based on a
given condition to forecast the likely outcome of pursuing a course of action at a given
time and place. With this knowledge it helps you make informed decisions and allow
you to avoid difficulty and seek out hidden and timely opportunities.

QIMEN STRATEGIC EXECUTION

By choosing the perfect hour and the ideal location, chances of successfully executing
a plan or idea can improve immensely. Strategic Execution is about doing ordinary
things consistently on strategic timing in order to create extraordinary results. This
type of analysis can help with business negotiations; job interviews or relationships.

QIMEN DESTINY
Destiny Analysis is about understanding a person’s destiny. By plotting a chart
based on a person’s time of birth, you can learn about his/her career, academic
capabilities, wealth, health and relationship prospect. It’s a map to look for ways
to transform one’s life and improve.

QIMEN SPIRITUAL
Spiritual QiMen focuses on the spiritual well-being of a person. It’s closely connected
to thoughts, feelings and motivations, and how they help shape a person’s actions and
results. This analysis help describes an individual’s true nature and higher being as
well as the way surrounding energy influences their spirituality.

QIMEN ORACLE
QiMen Oracle is a condensed version of Qi Men Dun Jia, which can be applied to
make quick divinations for daily personal activities especially where fast answers are
required, like trying to know the “whats” and “whys” of a situation. It can be used for
matters related to health, career, business and relationships.

QiMen charts map out the energy (Qi) imprint of a given time and space. Qi is energy or
vibrations and it’s extremely important because it vibrates at 4 different levels.

UNIVERSE
The cosmic energy and if you’re able to connect to it, you’ll be able to resonate
with the divine.

HEAVEN
Heaven is represented by the Stars. In Forecasting, there are 9 Stars and in
Oracle there are 12 Stars that govern the 12 animals.

EARTH
Earth is represented by the 8 Doors. The 8 Doors translate to actions.
Everything that we want to achieve in life comes in the form of an activity.

MAN
Man is represented by the Stems. Our nature and relationship with others are
the results of the activities and thoughts we have.

QiMen is about having awareness and if you are aware of the energy, then you can struc-
ture and programme your mind. Because we send energy to everything we focus on, it’s
important to send the right energy in the right direction to ensure a favourable outcome.

QIMEN AWARENESS MIND

The State Of Awareness

Before you can begin to use Qi Men, there are a few things you need to do. First, you
must have Awareness, the state of having knowledge or cognizance. This will give you a
clear idea of what you want in life.

Know Your Mind/Intention

The starting point of every dream is intention. Intention is the driving force that leads
us to fulfil our needs, whether it is for money, love or spiritual awakening. It is a directed
impulse of consciousness that contains the seed of creation.

Trusting Your Abilities

The more you trust your feelings and intuition, the more they work for you. People who
believe in their intuition and gut instincts are likely to experience better results in life. You
must have some form of trust in your ability before you can use Qi Men.

2.0 Making QiMen Work

For QiMen to work, you have to be fully aware of where your mind is. Before you know how
to give an instruction, you need to identify which state you mind/energy level is at. There
are 3 states:

NEGATIVE STABLE POSITIVE

Downward Spiral Upward Spiral

• Stable
This is the balanced state of consciousness, a level of revelation where the
answers, ideas and solutions you seek began to surface. You have accepted
what you cannot control and let bygones be bygones.

• Downward spiral
This is a negative state of consciousness. You are not in a good place, not in a
right frame of mind. You only think about the negative and see the dead end for
everything with no way out.

• Growth
This is a very positive state of consciousness, where true happiness and
contentment resides. Problems melt away, or you no longer perceive them as
problems. You have turned your perception around, seeing problems as mere
situations or challenges.
