If you talk about me, Muhammad Hammad, I come from a family that has a business
mindset. We normally prefer business over jobs so I have had the basic knowledge of
marketing and running of a business. And if we talk about the second partner Muhammad
Ahad, he comes from Mandi Bahauddin a and a agricultural family. As Mandi Bahauddin
and Hafizabad are the main districts from where rice is produced. So Ahad has a basic
knowledge of all the qualities and distinctive features of rice and also knows some
trustworthy dealers and mill owners who are related to rice.
Aside this we know that a partnership business is always run by collaborating so we
thought that both of us excel in the two main requirements of business. So if we elaborate
Muhammad Ahad will be in charge of finding dealers who sell the best quality rice and
Muhammad Hammad will be in charge of all the marketing and IT sector of the business.

Management Plan
A general overview of our management team and infrastructure is discussed here.
We are planning to establish five warehouses in the following cities, Lahore, Islamabad,
Mandi Bahauddin and Faisalabad which are owned by us. Warehouses in Mandi and
Islamabad are owned by Muhammad Ahad and the warehouse in Lahore and Faisalabad
are owned by Muhammad Hammad. The warehouse in Karachi will be leased on a
contract base of every 5 years.
The rice will be grown on our private agriculture land (40 Acres) to ensure the quality
and standards and also to minimize the rental costs. Aside this all the machinery used in
the seeding and harvest of the rice crop is owned by Muhammad Ahad, this will also
minimize the cost. The new processing machinery will be imported to maximize the
efficiency and avoid maintenance cost.
Initially the rice will be stored in Mandi Bahauddin and processed, cleaned, polished and
packaged there. After the processing and packaging, the rice will be distributed among all
the other warehouses.

Overall Costs and estimated Profits


As per Muhammad Ahad’s experience the estimated yield form one acre is about 2000 kgs of
rice and as we have 40 acres of usable land so our estimated calulations the total yield from 40
acres will be 80000 kgs of rice.
From this 80000 kgs approximately 25000 kgs will cover up our expense on the growth and
harvesting of the crop.
The estimated price of rice vary from 9000-10000 per 50 kgs. And in market the price is approx
19000-20000 per 50 kgs. The price of our product will be little lower then the open market. The
rice we sell will be refined twice, polished and packaged in food grade plastic. 55000 kgs of rice
will be readily available for sale in the initial stage. If the business grows we will expand our
operations and produce a higher yield using fields on rent and we will also ponder over exporting
rice.
Our packaging price will vary from 30 Rps as per the weight of sack.
Our processing price will vary from 20 Rps per kg of rice. 1000 per 50 kgs
All the other misc. expense will wary from 3000 per 50 kgs.
Our total expense will be 4000 on per 50 kgs sack.
So our selling cost will be approx. 18000 to 18500 per 50 kgs.
Our estimated profit on 50kgs sack is 14000 to 14500.
We are aiming to sell 500kgs of rice from every warehouse per month. Our estimated profit will
be 7lacks to 725000.
We have 1100*14000 =15400000 rps worth of rice is kept from last year

head office will be located in Mandi Baha Uddin. The management team consists of 10
members having one supervisor in each warehouse and three people to take online orders,
process them and manage website and marketing advertisements, two partners who own
this rice business. Our online and offline business will help people to buy rice hassle free,
they can place online orders easily on our WhatsApp number. The purpose of this

and maximize profit. We provide the best quality of rice which are grown on our own
land, we use fertilizers that are not harmful for health, our rice is delivered directly to the
doorstep at affordable prices and it is ready to cook. That is how our product meet the
needs of market and outperforms other products available in the market. Use of quality
products (fertilizers) and is packed in food grade plastic, our rice is refined and cleaned
