TASK Organize and construct a comprehensive portfolio showcasing your


academic and professional journey, integrating a physical book
portfolio, an e-portfolio, and a web portfolio. Include your resume and
a well-crafted application letter to demonstrate proficiency in the
application.

INSTRU 1. Students are required to prepare a full documentation of portfolio


CTION including:
i) Application Letter
ii) Graphic Resume
iii)Book/ E-Portfolio
iv) Web portfolio
Link of Book Portfolio and E-Portfolio must be included in the
Book Portfolio.

SECTION A: APPLICATION LETTER & GRAPHIC RESUME

Using an actual job listing from a company in your related


studies area of interest, you are required to create a job
application letter and resume. Identify the company, the
position and analyze your own capabilities and assets before
you write a letter of application and a resume.

1) Application Letter
In a single page, write a letter of application for a job.
Please follow proper formatting, as outline below. The
letter is your first and maybe your only chance to make
a good impression. So be sure to provide all the most
important details. Using the information found in the job
and target your letter specifically to that company and
that position.

Structure of application letter:


i) Your name and address (letterhead)
ii) Date
iii) Name, tittle and address of recipient
iv) Salutation
v) Introductory Paragraph
vi) Body of Letter
vii) Conclusion (asking for an interview)
viii) Complimentary close (“Sincerely”, followed by 3
blank lines)
ix) Signature and typed name

2) Graphic Resume
You are required to create Graphic Resume for the
specific job for which you are applying. Your resumes
will contain the following elements is not more than five
section:
i) Name and contact information
ii) Career Objective (optional - Do not include
if it takes up too much space or is not
necessary in your discipline).
iii) Education (with dates and locations).
iv) Work experience (with dates, location, and
specific descriptions of your
duties, using active verbs and incomplete
sentence construction).
v) Other relevant section, such as
Qualifications, skills, accomplishments &
award, or volunteer work (with dates and
locations).

SECTION B: PORTFOLIO DEVELOPMENT


Student are require to produce a complete proposal based on
following working portfolio content:

1) Book Portfolio
Student have to prepare a Dummy Book and include
specification below:
a) Sketch your idea & create a layout (Software Adobe
IIustration, Adobe
Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Canva etc.)
b) Arrange the artworks file into layout
c) Description of the artworks.
d) Design by concept that you already choose.

(Prepare a complete report on the layout and design of


your portfolio - A4 Size)
2) Website Portfolio
a) Prepare Site Map
b) Design and create a website using wix.com.
c) Make sure the web design is built according to your own
concept Software Adobe IIustration, Adobe Photoshop,
Adobe InDesign, Canva etc.)
d) Arrange the artwork file into website layout
e) Screenshot site navigation (page by page link)
