Damaged seal or pump body. Replace seal or body section.
Pump leaks at shaft oil-seal Improperly fitted seal. Replace seal.
Damaged o’ring or body. Replace o’ring or body section.
Loose bolts. Tighten bolts as per torque to specification.
Loose fitting. Tighten fitting.
Pump leaks at body section
Damaged fitting. Replace fitting.

At pump port Damaged pump body. Replace body section.

Low oil level. Fill oil tank.

Oil tank too small. Increase oil tank size.

Dirty oil. Replace oil and filter.

Pump is hot (Oil temperature Relief valve stuck open. Remove, clean, and re-set. Adjust relief valve to specifications

should not exceed 60º/70° C)

Relief valve improperly set. Review application.

Pump too large for application. Replace with correct size of pump

Undersized system component. Review application.

Improper type of oil. Replace with correct oil.

Low oil level. Fill tank.
Loose inlet fitting. Tighten fitting.
Oil foaming
Damaged pump shaft oil-seal. Replace seal.
Leak in suction hose. Replace hose.
