What does ‘continuous’ mean?
‘Continuous’ means the action started earlier, is still going on as we
speak and will stop later. Some examples:
I started swimming earlier. I’m swimming right now. I’ll stop swimming later.
I started running earlier. I’m running right now. I’ll stop running later.
I started cleaning earlier. I’m cleaning right now. I’ll stop cleaning later.
