(1) Set up ionizing radiation warning signs, radiation protection precautions, and
eye-catching working status indicators outside the equipment room.
(2) Ensure a reasonable layout in the equipment room, preventing the useful X-ray
beam from directly irradiating the positions of the door, window, and pipeline
port; do not pile up sundries irrelevant to the diagnosis work of the equipment;
equip the equipment room with a power exhaust device and maintain good
ventilation.
(3) The wall facing the main X-ray beam of the radiography equipment room must
have a protective thickness of 3 mm lead equivalent, and the other side walls
must have a protective thickness of 2 mm lead equivalent.
(4) Reasonably set the positions of the doors, windows and pipeline ports of the
equipment room, and ensure that the doors and windows of the equipment room
have the same protective thickness as the walls where they are installed. The
ceiling and floor of the equipment room (excluding the top floor) in a
multi-storey building (excluding the rooms without a building below) must meet
the shielding thickness requirements of the corresponding irradiation direction.
Flat cement floor and tile floor are acceptable. In case of a wooden floor, the
position for installing the equipment must be reinforced, and the cement layer under
the position for installing the base must be 100 mm deep, with a bearing capacity not
less than 800 kg/m2.
Be sure set up eye-catching warning sign and indicator of radiation hazard outside the
equipment room. When the indicator is on, close the equipment room door, and do not
any other persons to enter the room without permission.
If the grid power supply used in the equipment room is not stable enough and the
voltage is higher or lower than the rated voltage, configure a regulated power supply.
If a power failure often occurs, configure a UPS. The output of regulated power
supply or UPS must meet the power requirements of the overall unit, and the
recommended rated output power is 30% higher than the rated input power of the
overall unit. The grid power supply of a hospital must comply with the following
conditions:
Voltage AC220V
Frequency 50/60 Hz

1. A cement resistor is used for rapid discharge, and the capacitor capacity is
discharged within 5 minutes after shutdown;
2. Discharge is performed slowly through LED low current and capacitor voltage
indication (LED on: the capacitor is energized and cannot be operated; LED
completely off: the capacitor is not energized and can be operated) is provided.
This circuit uses multiple small current channels to realize release in parallel. If
one channel is damaged, the other channels can release the capacitor capacity
normally.
1. When maintenance is needed, turn off the power switch of the Veterinary Portable
generator and disconnect the power supply, when rapid discharge is performed at
circuit 1, and the enclosure can be opened for maintenance after 5 minutes;
2. In addition to the LED indication, a multimeter can also be used to measure the
voltages at both ends of the capacitor to judge whether the capacitor is energized.

Note: If the enclosure is opened 5 minutes later, and the LED indicator in circuit
2 is still on, the capacitor is still energized and circuit 1 has been damaged. How
to release the capacitor capacity in this case: lay circuit 2 aside for a long time
and let it slowly release the capacitor capacity.

Exposure error
When the Veterinary Portable generator reports a 06, 07, or 08 error, first verify
whether the Veterinary Portable generator reports the error caused by occasional
discharge of the X-ray tube:
1. Turn off the Veterinary Portable generator, and then power it on again to reset the
Veterinary Portable generator;
2. Select low kV dose exposure after startup. If an error is reported, the oil tank or
the main control board fails; if no error is reported, continue to increase the dose
for multiple exposures; if no error is reported in the above two steps, the
Veterinary Portable generator is affected by occasional discharge of the X-ray
tube and can be still used.
1. Dismantle the front shell, power on to start the Veterinary Portable generator, and
check whether the LED light on the IGBT adapter board is on (as shown in
Figure 9-1-4-1). If the LED light is not turned on, the fuse fails (as shown in
Figure 9-1-4-2), the power board fails, or IGBT fails;
