User Guide

Access Control & Identity Management


Department
Privileged Remote Access (PRA) is a
software that allows privileged users to
access their servers remotely in a
secure manner. It provides the ability to
control access to critical systems and
remote desktops without hindering the
work privileged users need to perform.

This guide is going to help you in


downloading, installing and accessing
PRA depending on the preferred way to
access the portal.

There are 2 methods to access PRA:
1- Web portal
2- Desktop Access Console

Note: PRA is only accessible through either the wired network or external network.

First method: Web Portal

Step 1: Go to PRA web portal

After reading
the STC PRA
AGREEMENT,
Click on
"Accept"

Step 2: Choose "SAML CREDENTIALS"
After choosing "SAML Credentials" as your authentication method, click on "LOG IN"

Press here

Step 3: Enter Your stc username and password

Enter your stc username


without .c or .t at the end
and without
“@stc.com.sa”

After entering your


credentials, click on "Log in"

Step 4: Approve access through Duo

Step 5: Access PRA web portal


You will be able to view all the servers that you have access to

Step 6: Access the desired server

2- Click on "JUMP"

Step 7: Provide appropriate credentials


Enter the appropriate username and password to access the desired server

Second Method: Desktop Access Console

Step 1: Go to the link below to download the Access Console

Note: You will be redirected to stc sso to be able to download the file

Step 2.1: Install PRA Desktop Access Console
After opening the AC file, you will be directed to “Access Console Setup Wizard”
to finish setting up the AC

After authenticating through Duo, a file with extenstion .BRCS-SAUDITELECOMCOMP
will be downloaded. Open the file with “Access Console” by double-clicking it

Step 4: Open “Access Console”


You will be presented with “Access Console” homepage and a list of your servers will
be provided in the bottom

Enter the appropriate credentials to access the desired server

Note: to access "Access Console" in the future, follow from step 3.1 onwards
