South University (Unpaid/Voluntary)

Overview
The Career and Placement Center (CPC) of North South University is seeking dedicated NSU students to join
our team as interns. This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in their
respective fields and to contribute to the development and success of the university's career services.

Internship Positions
1. School of Business & Economics (SBE)
• Role: Communication and Database Management
• Responsibilities:
o Assist in managing and maintaining the CPC’s corporate database.
o Develop and implement communication strategies.
o Communicate with employers for corporate registration.
• Requirements:
o Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
o Proficiency in database management (MS Excel).
o Attention to detail and organizational skills.
o Ability to work independently and in a team.

2. School of Engineering & Physical Sciences (SEPS)


• Role: Graphics Designing
• Responsibilities:
o Create visually appealing graphics and motion graphics for CPC promotions.
o Design flyers, brochures, social media posts, and other promotional materials.
o Collaborate with the team to develop creative concepts.
o Assist in video editing and production for CPC events.
• Requirements:
o Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
o Experience with motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
o Creative mindset and attention to detail.
o Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively.

3. School of Humanities & Social Sciences (SHSS)


• Role: Content Writing and Proofreading
• Responsibilities:
o Write and edit content for CPC’s website, press releases, newsletters, and promotional
materials.
o Develop engaging content for social media platforms.
o Assist in creating job descriptions, internship postings, and other career-related documents.
o Conduct research to support content development.
• Requirements:
o Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
o Strong research and analytical skills.
o Ability to produce high-quality content under strict deadlines.

4. School of Health & Life Sciences (SHLS)


• Role: Communication and Database Management
• Responsibilities:
o Assist in managing and maintaining the CPC’s corporate database.
o Develop and implement communication strategies.
o Communicate with employers for corporate registration.
• Requirements:
o Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
o Proficiency in database management (MS Excel).
o Attention to detail and organizational skills.
o Ability to work independently and in a team.

General Requirements
• Must be a student of North South University who has completed all courses or has only one course
left.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
