• Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology was established in
2005 under Guru Nanak Education Trust at Sodepur, Kolkata-700114.

• This is the first Autonomous NAAC and NBA accredited institute at Eastern India and
is recognized by PCI and affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of
Technology (MAKAUT).

• The institute has consecutively ranked in NIRF Pharmacy rankings for the last seven
years. The NIRF 2024 ranking of the institute is 87.
