A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
Ref. 24-42-00-861-001-A .
(2) In the cockpit, on the overhead panel 35VU, make sure that the BAT pushbutton switches are released.
(3) In the cockpit, on the overhead panel 35VU, make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons
not to operate the batteries.
(4) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at the access door 822.
(5) Make sure that the access door 822 (accpan) is open.
(6) Make sure that the access panel of the BATTERY power center 105VU is open.

SUBTASK 420-050-A
A. Installation of the BCL
(1) Install the BCL (1) on its support.
(2) Install the screws (4) and the washers (3).
NOTE: When you install the two BCLs with different standard Part Numbers (P/N), there can be a small
overlap between the BCL lugs with no effect in the operation of the BCLs.
(3) Tighten the screws (4).
(4) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(6) Connect the connector (2) to the BCL (1).
